890 MB Patch but No Patch Notes?

As I said, for me it's pretty much every game update on Steam in general. Occasionally they work.

Taming and Animal Care (As they are now) Should be Crafting Skills

As shown by Fishing not working right, they can't handle skills in both plans. :p Their split doesn't even work properly at the moment. This time all creatures in the world should have individual stats not just the mounts which in MO were handled as a special type of NPC. And their stats should...

890 MB Patch but No Patch Notes?

I have to do that every time when there is an update on any game on Steam, somehow Steam doesn't want to update things for me, it just gets stuck every few seconds. I have to uninstall and redownload/install. Luckily my internet is fast enough nowadays.

Taming and Animal Care (As they are now) Should be Crafting Skills

Necromancy should be a profession, I craft my own horses and monsters out of materials I gathered and all the other skills I need for it under Zoology are Professions too. :p Same could go for all the other spell craft that I use to manufacture spells.

Taming and Animal Care (As they are now) Should be Crafting Skills

I actually think the range of skillpoints will be around 1300-1500 each.

Aralis Enters the MO2 MMORPG Arena

You misspelled "on the forums". As most of that stuff was forum drama.

Taming and Animal Care (As they are now) Should be Crafting Skills

1100 is just what we had before and 20000 is clearly a placeholder so I wouldn't put any value into any of it. Derp, delayed post. You also had up to 4 characters on one account in MO, so we really don't know.

Taming and Animal Care (As they are now) Should be Crafting Skills

Actually after Sarducaa they introduced wandering mount spawns, well not spawns really but the camels would patrol along a wide route. I don't have a problem with breeding as long as they make it a player driven system where you have to care for the animals etc. No more, put pet into stable and...

Taming and Animal Care (As they are now) Should be Crafting Skills

We still don't even know how many skill points either side will have so we don't know about the viability of anything. And to be blunt, the only one responsible for you buying the game under the assumption things would be a specific way without having the full details on it is only on you and...

Taming and Animal Care (As they are now) Should be Crafting Skills

As I said, I don't care either way, if they put Taming under Professions even better for me. I was planning to go Dominate anyway just like in MO but having the option of trading stuff in addition also helps. I just personally still don't see it there and think it will make it too easy a pick...

Taming and Animal Care (As they are now) Should be Crafting Skills

I was actually about to post the exact same thing "I just noticed Fishing is not listed in the Professions list unless you specifically filter for it. So they must have moved that and fucked something up." Also doesn't help that the skills window constantly bugs out: So what if it's the...

Taming and Animal Care (As they are now) Should be Crafting Skills

So it's Action if it gives you something that's not tradeable that gives you a combat advantage by your definition? Wow, they must have moved some around at some point because last I wrote the skills down they were that way. Guess I will have to log in and double check every time now, just...

Taming and Animal Care (As they are now) Should be Crafting Skills

Dominated creatures aren't tradeable, even The thievery skills, the basic gathering skills, survival including swimming and fishing, Tapii Lore, Kimurite lore and to a degree the multiverse lore skills would like to disagree. On that note, why is Gathering and its subskills, which are all...

    MO 2 world map

"Make it yourself like all the others." Pretty much nobody has done a map for MO, they all just used one or two sources. :P

    Clade Gifts

I just don't have as much time anymore as back in the days. So time is a valuable resource and as we all also know time is money. On top of that I've done enough for the community for free. :P So I'll have to look into whether it's worth the time and effort to make something for the community or...

Taming and Animal Care (As they are now) Should be Crafting Skills

I never said breeding was crafting even though it is more so than taming - as it creates new entities. I said it was a profession. And the differentiation is not semantics it is meaningful to exactly this problem. It is not a visual representation, they are not items, they are living breathing...

    Clade Gifts

I'm not expecting anything. I'm offering. :p We did free MO stuff as well. But now there is less of a group effort.

Taming and Animal Care (As they are now) Should be Crafting Skills

It's not an item, it never goes to your inventory either. It is a "living" thing in the world. That is a meaningful difference. Well disregard the Auction House tickets they added later which I never really liked. Dominate works the exact same in that regard anyway. All it allows you is get...

Taming and Animal Care (As they are now) Should be Crafting Skills

You don't craft pets you tame, so it's not crafting to begin with. Which is why the term profession is better anyway. The fact remains, Taming is mostly a utility skill, that can optionally be used for trade. It's not firstly trade or "profession" (unless you'd argue everything you do to...

Taming and Animal Care (As they are now) Should be Crafting Skills

Actions are not only combat, just like Professions are not only crafting. I assume they chose those names to make that cleared. But yeah, I guess in a previous post I got the order of skills in the tree wrong. So, I agree there could be a way to move it, but then again everyone could easily get...
