    If movement speeds stay the same get ready for a dead footfighting scene and Mounted Online 2 about 3 months post-launch. Slower speeds also makes it even more of a numbers game. The effectiveness of kite-and-kill is gonna be much weaker than MO1 on top of the already turtle-friendly combat...

    I'm all for newer players giving their feedback and what not...but there is a reason why so many vets are very adamant about wanting movement speed to be faster. We know exactly how its going to feel in the "real world". Its important to remember that the alpha isn't a very good representation...

    Regardless, kiting is still going to happen frequently where people kite over long distances. It already feels like im high out of my mind while playing the game as it is with how slow the run speed and combat is/was.

    Agreed. Its hard to tell the difference between walking and a full sprint. Imagine when it goes persistent and real kiting from town to town begins. Fights are gonna be so drawn out. At this rate mounteds are gonna be king...as usual.

    This. Everything is in slow motion. Swing speed is too slow. Movement speed changes are meh, but i get may be necessary. If combat could be sped back up a bit more and every weapon doesn't feel like a massive slegehammer...it would be fairly solid.

    I don't really know how I feel about any of this tbh. Change is good...but damn things seem way more complicated this go around than how it worked in MO1.
