Outposts as the Mechanic to Prevent Ninja Sieges

No, but the quantity of towers was rather big. So usually it took several days/weeks to get all the towers down.

Lack of offline protection will cost the game

How did Rust solve the offline raiding issue? They got a pretty healthy population, no?

Outposts as the Mechanic to Prevent Ninja Sieges

You know that you basically describe the TC towers, but renaming it to Outpost? TC towers gave a buff to keep defense in MO1. Only difference is that you want fixed positions for them, instead of free placement?

Lack of offline protection will cost the game

I totally agree with the first part. But I also totally disagree with the second part. I hate guards. You could as well make operating the siege weapons more complicated/challenging.

Lack of offline protection will cost the game

Well, hopefully the thing you need to do to siege a village in MO2 is not only standing in a control point and wait for a certain time. :D

Lack of offline protection will cost the game

Siege windows are a shitty idea. When I play with an international guild this window will most likely be suitable for the majority of the guild, e.g. US players. This means for EU players that they either need to stand up in the middle of their night to defend, or if they won't they are locked...

    Shield fact finding

There seems to be no different in the stamina drain over time (or only mariginal). When sprinting while blocking I stam out after about 48 Seconds with both shields.

One Handed Weapons Are Bad [Poll]

It does have varying stamina drain depending on weight. I tested it and I'm 100% sure on it.

Haven: How should it work? [Poll]

Where is the option "Haven should contain only a limited amount of features"?

One Handed Weapons Are Bad [Poll]

Just did it. 2.16kg 1h heavy short vs 2.16kg great blade. With the charged 1h weapon I'm able to sprint for 19 seconds. With the charged 2h weapon I'm able to sprint for 29 seconds. So you're right. Edit: The 1.03kg Straight Backsword Blade is about the same stamina drain as the 2.16 kg great...

    Poison

He's talking about trading it via the broker to other players. I think other games name this feature "auction house". In MO1 it was called "trade broker".

    Nerf 2-hand swords

I think once it comes to teamfights and not only duels heavy weapons will increase in popularity. Swords are clearly the superior duel weapons.

    UI Feedback Megathread

Shift + dragging an item into another slot should also result in splitting the stack (and not only shift + right click). Hotbar actions should be bindable to the mouse thumb buttons.

    MO 2 world map

Yes, I'm planning to update it. However, I though about waitning until Toxai is available to I can make it all together.

One Handed Weapons Are Bad [Poll]

I disagree with this. The only time it uses significiant stamina is when you're to close to an enemy and charge the hit through it (in the early alpha builds this was canceling the swing). And of cause if you're using a heavy shield and block with it. But that isn't exactly the fault of the 1h...

One Handed Weapons Are Bad [Poll]

Spears and swords are fine. 1h axes are basically impossible to hit with. Same for 1h maces but a bit less. Daggers are fast and their hitbox is OK. But their damage sucks. Probably this changes with weakspot builds...

    More control over pets

Well, I also thought the topic deserves extra attention. Beast Mastery & the skills around it require ~ as much primary point as magic or melee combat. So it should also receive similar love as those topics.
