They are allegedly patching today to fix the queues. Apparently a lot of nodes are being added. If the server still can’t handle 3k in the mainland after this, then I’ll officially give up hope that they can accomplish their one-server goals.

They won't wipe because they view gold exploits and spawn exploits as part of the lore of the world for some reason.

It's a huge shame too, since day 1 and 2 it was holding mostly steady at mostly positive despite the lag and disconnects. The actual content of the game was keeping people satisfied despite the poor connectivity. Just a massive missed opportunity.

Mostly negative on steam is a massive failure. Game is unlikely to recover and new players will avoid it like the plague.

It's not a queue. Some people are able to get in and others aren't. It seems to be less common of a problem for the Haven servers, but less common =/= non existent.

Don't worry. When those 2k that logged out are ready to play again, they'll be able to get in instantly or within 20 minutes of queue time.

This is horrible advice. If you're in the queue for more than 30 mins, there is a very good chance you're never gonna make it past the queue.

It's mostly just justified trolling. This was a disaster launch like none other, let's be real. It's not like they are dealing with 100k people trying to get in (which they claimed they were prepared for), but it seems like the servers can't even handle 10k.

yeah, the lack of communication is wild. It’s obvious at this point the 30 devs thing was a lie, just like “the server can hold 100k” claim; but you’d think they could at least find an intern or something to give people updates.

The consequence of this will be an irreparable steam review score. Shame really. A queue number would calm people down, but it's obvious the reason why they won't add one is because whatever the "queue" is, it isn't a queue. It's not random either. Some people/pcs can log in and others can't...

Tbh they should just get rid of the weapon/armor vendors and make the starter sword even weaker. Right now noobs are not incentivized to even try weapon crafting because the weapon they craft in the tutorial is trash compared to the starter sword and what can be acquired for a single pig kill...

Be willing to invest the points then. It doesn't make sense thematically that someone would be unable to master the most basic spells in the lore but simultaneously be able to use magic to mind control a minotaur.

Underweight should be buffed to incentivize dex builds away from lean/fit/stout while leaving skinny and bony to mages.
