Carrom pool

I recommend SV to check this channel for some madevil game Ideas.

Chinese Checkers

Regular Checkers

I also like Chess because it train your brain, but it might take too long to be the best game for gambling.

Ii am really happy that SV added cube and board gambling games to the roadmap. This would make taverns interesting and i think a lot of player enjoy gambling and could even play mortal online mainly for gambling.

The gambling laws shouldn´t be a problem, if there is a limited ammount of gold you can exchange to casino jetons and if you cant buy the gold with real money. Good fishing mechanics like in red dead redemption and gampling games could make the game very interesting for players that would never play a full loot game and they would finence the further development, so that SV can hire more people to create more dungens Monsters and so on. The only problem i see with that, is that it might interest too many players and that the cities would lag, becuase of many gamblers. In the worst case SV would have to make the tavery instanced based as with heaven. I am totally against the idea of instances, and that´s the reason why it should only be the case if the game would attract thousands of gamblers that play such games on other internetsites.

God I am so on the edge about a card deck game. It has the potential with finding rare cards out in the world and upgrading your deck or adding to the collection. But then you could just get killed in front of a tavern or robbed of the precious collection you have gathered. I would absolutely lose it. XD
I think the potential stress would be too much for me and so I would skip it altogether.

Something simple like dice poker, card poker or similar things that every tavern has at a table would be fun for chilling with friends and passing the time while waiting for your guildmates bathroom break or something. Great roleplay potential too with tournamets and the like. Good idea. :)

The previous version of gaming tables in MO was quite open to what you wanted to do with them. I really liked how it was set up.

You opened a board UI that had many lines, numbers and points on it. Could represent many different games or styles. Youd then right click on your game piece box in your inventory which would allow you to place your pieces on the table. There were different piece sets, I had three different ones in MO1. Not sure how many there were, in reality. They were really nicely done up and could you could see the differences within each piece. There was planned as well of special and rare drops of unique pieces as well... but I never saw this in game.

Multiple people could also have the board open at once, to either spectate, or participate. Only sucky part was the ability to have your pieces stolen from the table (well, the freedom to do as you wanted was good... the idea of only having partial sets that prevent you from play kinda blew).

No forced rules, or "turns"... just an open board and pieces you could use. Up to players to decide game and how it moved forward.

Dice also existed in MO1. Though you had to find them individually, not in sets.

MO1 table game was a good feature but must improved, people used the tables to build walls and a sort of stair. :)

Kingdom Come: Deliverance had a pretty fun dice gambling game that could be pretty easy to implement I imagine.

i think the idea from mo1 was to provide the board and pieces, and its up to us to invent whatever games we can from it. no idea if they'll keep it that way for mo2. so maybe they'll give us some dice or similar among the pieces and a way to keep score

RIght! We just need tools that open the door for us to create our own. The return of dice would be a simple start that could be used in many ways.

I personally did not enjoy the Board in MO1. I found noone to play with and it was no existing game with rules.
