I find it pretty redundant to use MO1 as an example given the fact that was 10+ years ago with a much arguably less experienced team making it on technology that couldn't even properly see to fulfilling the massive idea that is MO.
There was much more to the MO1 launch then user error.
The difference here is that they've had all this time to prepare, and were given copious amounts of feedback time and time again and flat out ignored it.
You can try and compare the two but they aren't even remotely in the same league at all.
