    Remove starter kits

This is pointing to the same direction as your other thread. IMO there is a point where this would be helpful to asses how effective the death deterents are. For this we need: 1. Reserves 2. heat system 3. statloss/no statloss 4. functioning standing system 5. Priests that are as the developers...

Anyone having performance issues since the newest patch?

Heavily depends on the location. In Fabernum it has actually gotten better and now I can get 50 FPS in 1080p at the lowest settings. It used to be about 30. Other locations (and I guess the time of days plays a role as well) drag me down to 15-20 on the same settings. The problem is that these...

    Material Storage

MO1 very much became an episode of hoaders, with some added complication from questionable material sources. There have been various statements by the devs that they are reconsidering banking. It has major implications what and how much of it you can store in the one place no one can attack...

Mounted Wishlist. What we do, and do not want to see.

Honestly I think the costs of equipment are not as important as they are made to be. Having something take a lot of time to aquire will only lead to people wanting it to give them unreasonable power. I´m more interested in skill points, since those are a finite resource and you cannot...

    Material Storage

It´s a nice idea for organisation, but I don´t think the total bank space should be increased by much. I guess some kind of volumetric unit could be appropiate, but that would go against the current method of abstraction. It´s probable that the devs aim is to reduce the total amount of useful...

Is it time for Psuedo Persistence?

I´m sorry, this can´t be done. As you can see in @Valoran argument above wanting persistence makes you a griefer. Especially once we have mounts they could go with a months of persistence. Maybe with increased gathering rates. In terms of metal I was actually doing alright. Calx is difficult...

Mounted Wishlist. What we do, and do not want to see.

That depends entirely on what kind of game SV wants to develop. I would say yes, if the rider and the horse can also be killed in one shot. That´s the reality in Bannerlord/Warband. You live by the lance and die by the pike.

Mounted Wishlist. What we do, and do not want to see.

Or how about just this once we don´t descend into the madness that is discussion how realistic mounted combat should be. We all have to employ suspesion of disbelieve and I doubt that the correct weight on weapons would trigger any one really. Weight translate into damage, two handed weapons...

Mounted Wishlist. What we do, and do not want to see.

Any good system would allow for both to co-exist and be useful in different situations. A molva would probably be the third: very high HP, slow speed, medium damage.

Is it time for Psuedo Persistence?

I think for testing various things they should keep it the way it is. They can play around with what is available where, but in the end we are here to find bugs and see if mechanics work. I agree with the sentiment that organized fights are terrible. My suggestions is that you change your name...

    tools durability loss rate

The planned crafting skill system is not implemented yet. So I´m guessing there will be changes once we get that. I like how certain weapons have low durabilty and I think it´s a good way to diversify especially handles in weapon crafting. The easiest fix would probably be to increase the...

Mounted Wishlist. What we do, and do not want to see.

I think a lot of what I wish for has been mentioned before. I don´t think that many of those things are as controversial as people in past made them seem. A couple of points that are important to me: 1. A organic and dynamic control scheme for mounts that rewards good riding skills. It does...

[Suggestion] Mercy mode should work like MO1 mercy mode.

The kneeling animation had the problem that it was tought to sync and very often you could see people sliding into position in mercy mode when the server updated their position. It looked cool in some instances and just goofy in others. In that regard I like the current implementation better...

    No Books in MO2?

Books are just one of those things that is not sexy to talk about these days. I would bet that they come in a very similar way as they were in MO1. Hopefully with a bit more diversity and less focus on Tindrem when it comes to location. With the new standing system and a one-character set-up...

    Lore

I think they should put it on the website. The forum is a pretty obscure place. They should also update their steam page with this. Possibly send out a mail to their old customers. Never underestimate the admiration that we veterans have for the creator of the lore and crafting.

    Dec/Jan Roadmap Discussion

It´s a political term. Everything someone else does to me is griefing, everything I do to them is game play. I mean, look at how the word "grief" is used in normal language. Using it for any part of video game is frankly disgusting. Personally I think creating a responsive and functioning UI...

    MO 2 world map

It´s not uniform. They haven´t only stretched everything out but added a lot of things. What used to be a single hill is now multiple slopes with cliffs and multiple levels. This makes travelling quite different and will ultimately increase travel time. On the plus side the idiotic fall damage...

    New standings system

It would add another step. Buying a second account and setting up macros. It´s not like we have not been through this before.

[Suggestion] SV & Community - Encourage forum activity & usage

I guess history IS written by the victorious. The victorious in this case where the people that thought walls everywhere and broken combat mechanics would revive the game, because being able to solo PvE was more important than fixing mechanics surrounding conflict. Worked out great the first...
