    Crouch Stance

Absolutely. I can only imagine how many new players have been turned away in disgust at a game that gives one specific clade basically x-ray vision, no matter how well hidden they are. If SV insists on keeping Alvarin Sight as it currently is, they should make it available to everyone, like in...

    Crouch Stance

Make a crouch stance that will slow your movement speed to 50% of normal, any damage done by others will be to your head (unless SV can make it so that damage to specific body areas still works like in normal stance). It also bypasses Alvarin Sight which, in my opinion, is the worst cheat mode...

Now that MO2 is Officially a 200 Pop Game

That dip is normal and every game has it, even single-player games. I don't dispute that MO2 has bots, but if you wanted to argue for 200+ of them, you'd need to show verifiable proof.

    About the map indicator

I explained this in my earlier post on this thread.

    About the map indicator

I don't think it's tedious at all. When you learn the layout of the land and can navigate it on the move like second nature, having to stop every now and then to bring up a map and see where you are would feel more tedious, if you ask me. Adding a map indicator just takes away another piece of...

    About the map indicator

That's not a good sign. The game already feels very grindy and tame compared to MO1, adding a map indicator just adds to that. It now genuinely makes me think the game is headed in a very different direction than what I thought way back in alpha and even up until recently before the whole...

Anything that could point to that happening?

    About the map indicator

One of the main selling points of original MO1 (and by extension, MO2) was knowing how to navigate your way around using nothing more than the natural terrain, points of interest, and your own intuition. It appealed to a certain segment of gamers who were wired to wanted this as a core feature...

The End of All Hope for Thievery (In My Opinion)

I appreciate the assurances, Robmo, and hold a sliver of hope that thievery will come someday in the not distant future. However, I think many of us (thieves and non-thieves alike) who have been wanting to see thievery since alpha have had our hopes crushed many times, to the point we just no...

The End of All Hope for Thievery (In My Opinion)

I wouldn't say that we're being lied to. It's more that those of us who wanted thievery (a good 63% in the unofficial forum poll I made several years back) have probably given up all hope that it will ever come to the game. The entire skill line is probably destined to remain in the not-yet...

The End of All Hope for Thievery (In My Opinion)

Source: https://www.mortalonline2.com/into-the-vault-153-new-lands-revealed-and-next-patch-details I had a feeling they would do this sooner or later. To all thievery fans, I think it's safe to say that this may be the end of the road. Seems like it ain't ever coming to MO2.

    The Regional Reputation System

I'm tempted to think that this was AI trying hard to emulate human limitations in processing deep, intricate ideas...?

    New Year Talk:

I think 2026 will be mainly SV fixing bugs with Sarducaa once it's released, adding more dungeons, pets and armours (fluff in my opinion) to the new continent like they did with Myrland. I doubt there will be much in the way of actual sandbox elements, but we will wait and see.

Now that MO2 is Officially a 200 Pop Game

It's quite a wasted potential that for years, we've been posting very good ideas here on the forums, but sadly I feel that many of those ideas have either been ignored or implemented in a very different spirit to what we had in mind.

Now that MO2 is Officially a 200 Pop Game

I actually made some of the suggestions about survival, liking having to drink and sleep, in one of Henrik's livestreams a number of years ago. But from what I remember him saying was that he didn't want MO2 to become "that type of game" (survival). It's rather odd, considering MO1 had sleep...

Now that MO2 is Officially a 200 Pop Game

I feel that too much time has passed and the game has not added much in terms of sand for the sandbox. By now, the game should have added a whole bunch of tools, like dynamic true "living, breathing world" (not the marketing term that every game out there loves to use these days), more in-depth...

    Removal of subscription [POLL]

I think MO1 died the way it did because Henrik announced MO2. I remember seeing a steep fall in player numbers which never came back in the days after the announcement. Before that, it was hovering around 300-400, occasionally reaching 500.

    Removal of subscription [POLL]

What @Xunila is trying to say is that the numbers on Steam charts don't tell the full story. It only shows those with their Steam profiles set to public. Those set to private and Epic accounts are not shown. I think everyone here acknowledges that the real actual numbers are much lower than...

    Removal of subscription [POLL]

I doubt alt accounts are of any concern to SV, since those accounts still mean money for them. A prime example is EVE Online which actively encourages alt accounts, and high-sec gankers who control a dozen Catalyst destroyers simultaneously to one-shot miners when they're not paying attention...
