Make a crouch stance that will slow your movement speed to 50% of normal, any damage done by others will be to your head (unless SV can make it so that damage to specific body areas still works like in normal stance). It also bypasses Alvarin Sight which, in my opinion, is the worst cheat mode in a game like this, and defeats any notion of hiding behind walls or bushes. This would shift the balance of power back to the center where other clades have a counter and fighting chance against this cheat mode.

This would be a good first step towards the implementation of thievery. Make it a requirement that any thievery actions must be performed while stationary and in crouch stance, unlike in MO1 where a thief can follow you around and pickpocket you on the move.

1000 times yes.. BUT... It needs a couple of other touches:

A) It needs to make your footsteps quiet, or significantly quieter (make it a skill when/IF thievery comes out).
B) Your name should NOT pop up if someone aims over you during crouch stance.
C) You should have a damage multiplier when attacking from this stance, ESPECIALLY when hitting someone in the back (if not ONLY when you hit someone in the back).
D) You should have to charge the stance to activate it, so people can't jump in and out of it mid combat; it should also slow you down whilst charging it.
E) The stance should drop the moment you take a hit, or attack someone.

Alv sight just needs to go. Or be reworked to be more related to mobs or hidden doors, pickables, nodes, etc...
Absolutely. I can only imagine how many new players have been turned away in disgust at a game that gives one specific clade basically x-ray vision, no matter how well hidden they are.

If SV insists on keeping Alvarin Sight as it currently is, they should make it available to everyone, like in Dune: Awakening where players have access to handheld and vehicle scanners that detects all entities in a radius.

I'd even be cool if it said people were there but didn't show them. I do use it, but I try not to haha. Sometimes it's just too good not to use.

Most people have at least an alv for ratting, so it is available to everyone. But it's strange that they made the ultimate rat clade have the ultimate anti rat. You'd think it would be like oghmirs or something that got it, you know?
