Why Guilds Will Quit (To Henrik)

That would be your subjective opinion, which is fine. But the fact of the matter is that there are PvE areas that require a group (where solo mounted archery won't work), as well as areas where one person can do fairly well.

Why Guilds Will Quit (To Henrik)

I think that goes to show that there's something for everybody in the game, and that's likely what SV is aiming for. If a particular mob is too challenging or not challenging enough, there's always something else out there that will be to their liking.

Why Guilds Will Quit (To Henrik)

Increasing the value of heads is nice in the short term, but it will likely lead to price hikes over everything as people are now able to amass more gold over a shorter period of time. Not sure if that would solve the RMT problem either as people would simply pay the same amount of money for...

Why Guilds Will Quit (To Henrik)

I don't know about soloing 4 bandits at the same time, or an area with 5 or 6 mountain spiders or razorbacks out in the wild. But I get what you're saying.

Why Guilds Will Quit (To Henrik)

One bandit head is 80 silvers, and they usually come at you in groups of 3 or 4 when one of them is aggro'd. Then there's another group of them further down the road. That's if you don't bump into something else along the way.

Why Guilds Will Quit (To Henrik)

If your goal was to farm for gold, I would suggest going to a proper dungeon.

Why Guilds Will Quit (To Henrik)

There are a lot more spawns nowadays, I rode from Tindrem back to Fabernum the other day and ran into no less than 5 camps or ruins occupied by bandits, scoundrels or outlaws, a black bear, alpha wolf pack, and zombie adventurer. And that's just me heading in a straight line through the woods.

    Please communicate with us better

This has been a problem in the past when something goes wrong with the game and SV decides to simply post on Discord where most people probably aren't going to notice. Or they simply don't say anything at all, which appeared to be the case here. I had medium and heavy pet equipment and pet bag...

    Patch Notes 1.0.17.59 Discussion

I'm rating this patch as average for now, as it broke the medium and heavy pet armour crafting skills which are currently disabled for some reason even though I have 70 in both.

HUGE GPU DRAMA! Nvidia wants to DESTROY Intel..

I think games that require that kind of insane amount of vram are probably for those wanting to run on 4k resolution. If it's just on 1080p then 8gb would probably be plenty for most games from what I've heard. It also comes down to how powerful the gpu is, not just how much vram it has.

HUGE GPU DRAMA! Nvidia wants to DESTROY Intel..

I heard Nvidia relented recently and have doubled the vram on the rtx 4060. A good start but probably won't win over those who already have a card from the 3000 series.

HUGE GPU DRAMA! Nvidia wants to DESTROY Intel..

The 4000 series were a disappointment, performance is only a slight bump from the previous generation. Nvidia needs more competition to keep them from releasing products that are essentially GPUs with less cores, lower clock speed, smaller bus and more VRAM on a new architecture.

Ideas to reduce travel time, without destoying core mechanics of the game. (very important feedback to make the game enjoyable for players with a job)

I've said it before so many times in the past, but SV needs to urgently copy EVE Online's stellar UI that allows you keep track of and a record of everything for perpetuity. From what items you have in every station in the galaxy, to how much damage you took in every PvP or PvE encounter where...

Will Mortal Online 2 Survive The Next 2 Years

No one is denying the game needs progression loops and plenty of content. The problem is if you want accessibility to a wide variety of players and playstyles you invariably have to dumb the game down at some point. The mainstream segment of the video game world from what we've seen won't be...

Will Mortal Online 2 Survive The Next 2 Years

MO1 was always a very niche game that did well in attracting its target audience. High player numbers was never the motivation for Henrik and Co. to make the game (and thievery) in the first place. If you want to call it "disastrous", by all means, but that's like saying the game failed because...

Will Mortal Online 2 Survive The Next 2 Years

I don't believe that to be the case, thievery was in the game quite early in MO1 and complaints about it was minimal for the 7 years or so that I played. Majority of complaints centred around node lines, balance, crashes, dupes and TC which was badly implemented. Thievery on the other hand, was...

Will Mortal Online 2 Survive The Next 2 Years

I don't think I was being disingenuous when I said MO1 was a cult classic, which means obscure or unpopular with mainstream audiences, and often revolutionary or ironically enjoyed.

Will Mortal Online 2 Survive The Next 2 Years

The thing about thievery is that it's supposed to get other players involved, whether that's to go anti-thief or make people watchful of who is around them. An entire school of gameplay emerged just for thievery alone in MO1. We can bemoan the thievery mechanic but it is part of what made MO1...
