Idea to help new players who are apprehensive of full loot open world games

There should definitely be a help guide to teach people how to get started in a full loot pvp game. Just saying no to helping people get started isn't in the game's interest and I'd wager SV knows that. If you've played much MO you'd know they don't give out secrets anyway. This would be to...

Idea to help new players who are apprehensive of full loot open world games

Way off base jack. Restating the problem, defeatism, then using vulgarity. Sigh. Better response is to explain why you think its not a solo game and why thats better.

Idea to help new players who are apprehensive of full loot open world games

These comments are fair. The titles idea could be implemented for something other than titles, more of a place holder to balance out pvp rewards, Im not really arguing FOR the existance of titles I just figured they'd do it since it was in MO1... I'd probably maintain that teaching the basics...

Idea to help new players who are apprehensive of full loot open world games

Titles - please consider scaling the amount of "XP" you get to achieving PVP titles/perks like Dread Lord based on mechanic that weights the Armor/weapon quality and Combat/Magic skill of the opponent. So if you kill someone who's roughly geared at your level you gain 100% of 1 tick. If you...

    Make skilling take longer

Of course it wouldn't all by itself. It would just be one of the things the watchdog script would check for. I'm not typing 5 air tight paragraphs XD. SV will eliminate botting and accomplish the Vision or they wont.

    Make skilling take longer

Actually pretty simple to get rid of macroing. Combat/Magic: If you aren't hitting (another player) or being hit (by another player) within X seconds, the server stops your ability to skill up. Bye macros problem solved. Now you can actually play the game they way it was intended and go...

The Improved Combat AI Seems Promising

An easy fix here could be that mobs only take falling damage if a player knocks or pushes it over the edge, which seems like it would be a valid way of killing something. But that would still leave the case of them not being able to follow you up a slope. You'd think most enemies would just...

    Field Crafting

Sounds good, I'm not picky on any specifics, but if it creates that pioneering feel, it could definitely be interesting then.

    Field Crafting

Would be nice to create a basic workbench in the wilderness without visiting a town. Kind of like the pioneer feeling you get in Minecraft, if that makes sense. It might be fun if there was a basic wooden workbench that could be made, perhaps thru Combination or a Skill that can be gained and...

    Lictors

It would be interesting to see a stylized version of this in the game, carried by Lictors. Their iconic weapon always seemed missing.

    Bring back longer extraction timers

Extraction should be zero timer. Better to spend time running around finding resources or really anything. Just reduce node respawn timers, or do something creative like scattering nodes randomly in interesting to explore places. That is if SV thinks waiting 30 minutes on extraction is...

    Crafting Suggestions

I wasn't really saying no minigame. But it would have to have great graphics, like the furnace is burning and you are forging and people can see what you are making. On the weapon blade you can click to strike multiple times like a weapon swing, shaping and balancing it, but on a timer to get...

    Crafting Suggestions

I'd say SV should avoid non-immersive pop up windows as much as possible. So unless the mini-game involves looking down at a CGI of a block of steel you are forming and actually let you do real world stuff like shape and form it, controlling reach and balance and things like that. But that...

Combat performance feedback, from the observer's perspective.

Good to hear. Will definitely be trying it out once there's a sub for general players.

Combat performance feedback, from the observer's perspective.

City of Heroes with an 800k player population claimed to have server costs $USD 6-7k per month, as they went non profit or something. SV just needs to get a good well-subbed MO2 core game going, then more servers around the world could be possible to solve latency.

A Bridge Too Near (Team Fight)

At 0:57 it said Tell how fast you can destroy all items with the correct directional attack! Is that new?

    Combat/Overall feedback

True. I expect once SV hits the first 100k players having multiple servers on each continent will just make sense anyway. I mean who could deal with 10k people all walking around one Tindrem. ?

    Combat/Overall feedback

Isn't edge computing where you have multiple servers working in unison? Why not have something like that to equalize pings.
