This isn't a game about dueling. People seem to have forgotten that. Magic and mounts can't come soon enough.Real Fight:

Mortal Online 2 Fight:
In my opinion, the top and bottom video are very different.
The speed of movement in full gear is far too high and requires far too little endurance.
The stroke speed is more appropriate, but should be further corrected up or down depending on the stroke.
As a neutral observer, you will see 2 characters who are constantly moving back and forth, slamming and running away, all the time. the video takes about 2 minutes and there is no trace of tiredness.
Not to mention the specialists who move a whirlwind around handling back and forth with rear tables.
You're comparing a video of LARPers with a fantasy MMO. I get the point you're trying to make...but its just not a good one. There are a few medieval combat sims out there you can play. The type of slow movement and realism you want just doesn't fit in the world of MO at ALL. Once you've played the game for awhile you'll understand why (maybe).Real Fight:

Real life and video games are different. Gameplay will always take priority over realism in design, if realism takes away from gameplay and makes things tedious(not fun) - Unless your goal is to make a simulation, which while movement might be more 'realistic' looking, is typically clunky and unintuitive, since game mechanics can't exactly mimic real life 1:1.Real Fight:

Yeah, iam new to MO2, and never played MO1, but i think i know what you (MolagAmur) and Teknique mean, or i will learn what you mean with the time (maybe). I thought of, because it looks so good and realistic, that the comabt have to be or have to look realistic, too.
I mean also in a Fantasy MMO the combat can look or feel more realistic, and not be so hektic. But if this is a core gameplay in MMO2 i will see (maybe) how it will be, or why it has to be like this. Thank you both for explaining...
Is there maybe a place for Conan in the world of MO2?
