Please Give us a Halloween Event to reward us Beta Players with a Cosmetic we can keep after release

Mo1 had the Pumpkin Helmet and The Ram Helmet. I can't remember what else. But I would really love a Skin for Horses Like a Headless Horseman Skin or a New Halloween Cape. Or a Weapon Skin, or a armor skin. I would enjoy the same thing for Christmas and New Years. Lots of Games do this.

Additionally lots of other games reward their player base for helping them during Beta. So there really isn't any problem here...

Yeah for sure. But I am curious why do you think this is a bad thing? We already had Pumpkin Helmets and Ram Helmets in Mo1 and Wings too.

They could just take the Cape design they have now and just throw a Ghost or Pumpkin thing on it with particle effects. It wouldn't really take a lot of time or resources people were making their own Vet capes in Mo1.

I Disagree, I'm more then happy to wait until they have TC, and all schools of Magic from Mo1 including all Armors, Weapons, Dungeons, Bosses, and Skills from Mo1. If that takes longer then January then I'm happy to wait.

But Hallowe'en?
It's a time when the walls between the Worlds of the Living & the Dead are thin. With Magic in the Spiritism School, that's a Mortal tradition already. But why not have a little invasion / overlap from one to the other in Nave around this time? (Next year, maybe.) And pumpkin-heads to wear, if that's not 'too much fun'.

I very much enjoyed the pumpkin helmets in MO1, although I think you need to be careful here when using words like "skin" or "cosmetic".

This game doesn't and won't ever have "skins" in their traditional sense, where you can equip one and it makes a real item you have look different.

I'm sure we will see festive capes introduced after release.

We should get like a Beta Special Cape at least for all the bugs and everything we have helped fix. I would enjoy having something like that, Legion already got special capes for winning a tournament back when no one was even playing beta. So that means SV isn't against giving Beta prizes away.

They talked about it a lot about letting guilds customize their own Banners and Capes and stuff. And Now is a perfect time to give us some cool holiday stuff. They should really Jump at the opportunity.

What special cape are you talking about? No such cape exists as far as i'm aware, and there has been no official tournaments yet, only ones hosted by players.

Also, the capes are not skins, they are just different capes (That happen to be bound to you on death of course).


The guild emblem and banner system likely won't come until after release.

I would like to see some kind of beta tester cape though.
