I think you lack basic understandid of the foundation of Haven.
Haven is supposed to be an area were new players are able to build up a basic stock of equipment and get them used to using banks.
Old MO1 tutorial had the issue that player got their "reward" at the end of the tutorial, died, and everything was gone.
Now with Haven the hope is that when they transfer to Myrland and die for the first time they are like "doesn't matter, I got another set on my bank" instead of "Bad game, I lost everything".
Talking about new player experience... What do you think how new players will feel if they stay on Haven for hours, days, or even weeks and then they transfer to Myrland and everything is gone (expect 2 picks and some starting books?)? Right, they hit escape and press the quit game button.
