They would need a way for non spiritists to do something about ghost scouts. Obviously spiritists would be better at it, but if we are going to have pay per view cameras for big guilds, then at least let smaller groups of people deal with it in some way.

Fat mages as a concept don't even make sense. Someone at Starvault seems to think obesity correlates with high intelligence. Character weight shouldn't impact non-physical attributes.

Yes, but on the other hand positive and negative impact for strength, dex and const are nice for melee or archer builds but nothing for mages.

IMO I think the bonuses/penalties themselves are in a pretty good spot. The mage scaling towards the extremes are what's weird. There should be more than pure damage for hitting higher intelligence and at that point the damage gain from having high int can be decreased. Can't come up with any good suggestions as opposed to just damage on the top of my head, but there are plenty of factors that could weigh in towards a good balance.

This is what happens when you have a million different weight classes. Really all that is needed is 3 classes within the weight slider: Fat, fit, skinny. Fat gives hp bonuses (this also doesn’t make sense but whatever), skinny gives dex bonuses, fit helps strength. Mages can then choose what kind of mage they want to be based on this without being forced into obesity.

Almost certainly too late for any change like this, but it would be more realistic and encourage more diverse mage builds since you could no longer get an int bonus from any body type.

I dont like weakspots, they are RNG and RNG is not a good mechanic for competitive games
Aye!!! Please add a different damage type for "weak" spots. We are already getting poisons for daggers so I dont mind loosing weak shot for daggers.
-with a dagger- is it possible to have damage (if its in the back) do +20% of weapon damage that ignores armor.
-with a 1h sword- diminishing returns for armor ignoring hits.
-shots to the head- possibly add a "concussive" damage that ignores armor and does a percentage of total damage as a bonus or a dot bc IRL concussive hits are like dots. Concussive hits can also be a disorienting status effect or slow.
-with a 1h axe- diminishing returns for concussive hits.
-bows- i think the concussive damage works for bows with bodkin and longbow arrows maybe doing +Damage Percentage by ignoring armor and broadheads having a concussive hit.
-mauls- they need a concussive effect.

Conclusion; we need 2 or 3 new damage types to help express the variety of weapons.

Once you put in a bad mechanic and try to balance it... you're just fucking the game up more.
Well, there aren't "Roots" as such in Mortal games so far. But there have been Knockdowns, which do impede progress. ;) But when you're in the Ether, it's kind of like the Upside-Down, so maybe ghosts, if hit hard, should get... Knocked Up? 😱

Only to the top of the Skybox, then float down gently, of course.

Just make ghosts visible (and attack-able in some way) when they use transcendental awareness. If they can see into the living world then the living world should be able to see them too.

Yeah, it would be nice if there was some kind of indication in the real world that a ghost is watching.

At least then you could be aware of possibly being spotted and try to react accordingly.

Maybe even just their eyes could show up while the spell is active.

They should just remove it. Having people ghost watch you and pop in and out of portals to MP should not be a thing
