    Necromancy Primaries

There is no such thing as "fast hybrid" or "slow hybrid". An alvarin in steel/bloodsilk is as fast as someone in paper.

    Necromancy Primaries

Spoken like someone who always saw dagger mages as free loot in 1500 hours on melee. There may be a handful of people in the whole of MO2 who don't completely suck as dagger mages. You must be completely delusional to think otherwise. I'm seeing an increasing number of those btw. Soon people...

    Necromancy Primaries

Dagger mages are trash and are only good to serve as a distraction. The build is basically a shitty workaround for people who want to play mage but don't want to be a healing battery. And a fact that a mage needs a dagger is hillarious by itself.

It's a good argument. There isn't a single reason for why mages can't be on the frontline except for melee purism. It's just your personal preference.

    Necromancy Primaries

Yeah you play a role that plays well in all circumstances. Well that would sound like a good argument if the game didn't have one character per account so those who wanted to play as mages could pick them for group battles but play as melee 90% of the time. It would suck for the variability of...

    Necromancy Primaries

So you're one of those guys who always roam in groups large enough for there to be frontline and second/third line? Must be hell of a fun.

    Necromancy Primaries

That's true for party rpg's, not true at all for MMOs. Which makes sense because you can't always have a party with you. Which is especially important for an MMO that only allows 1 character per account.

Mostly because ecu is the most boring magic system in the history of computer gaming.

Henrik mentioned walker knowledge primary i think. And i believe ritualism will be primary too.

3 MAs couldn't kill a pet and you're asking if they're just bad?! How did you even GET to them with a dagger?!

I don't have an MA anymore. But i fail to see how you can possibly with this.

Pet's aren't underpowered, they just aren't as OP as people say and they deserve to be powerful for the amount of time it takes to have them ready for pvp. I would prefer them to be weaker but easier to get, much easier. It shouldn't be *the* weapon that can kill an average player with no input...

So now it's multiple pets. I admit, never played in a guild large enough to see it happen. VS 1 tamer i've never had too much problem in 1500 hours on melee. And i was never a pro. Ok it can probably be difficult with multiple tbirds focusing one target. They probably should add some debuff on...

    Some balance suggestions from taming

I already have the whole cake. I tame and train pets on one character and use them on another. What i want is maybe a little QoL or at least an action skill that makes sense. Currently taming doesn't make sense as an action skill, it's just a confused profession skill. And again, pets aren't OP...

    Some balance suggestions from taming

You won't get everybody with a combat pet. Animal training would stay primary because it makes sense - you (at least you're supposed to) train your pets in the open world where danger of losing your pet is. So it would still take at least 300 points to tame and train a pet for yourself. And then...

    Some balance suggestions from taming

Most pets are dogshit and they die easily. Taming skill doesn't make pets any stronger and contributes absolutely nothing to winning fights or survivability. Therefore it has no place being primary in action tree. Pets wouldn't be more OP (btw how if pets are so OP and game breaking how come...

    Some balance suggestions from taming

And exactly how are they different? A pet is a tamer's weapon just like a sword is a swordsman's weapon. The only difference is that you can ask your guildmate to craft you 30 swords and it will take less than a minute. Tamers would still be able to sell pets to those who don't have ACC, or to...

OK. Then armor and weapon crafting should be moved to action tree. Let fighters craft and let them sell the gear.
