    Persistent World Tomorrow?

Fishing would either need more risk or more time investment to have even remotely the money making capacity it had then, a mix of both would be optimal. It has tiny risk now, since you sometimes get attacked by turtles? I think it was? But that doesnt make up for it. If you had to actually...

How to prevent people from deleting items after looting!

If you were under attack and you died in your territory you would be back in the fight in a couple minutes as soon as res sickness fades, even sooner if you are a crossbow user. But you could just go and grab your gear regardless and the sickness would be gone by the time you got your stuff...

How to prevent people from deleting items after looting!

Not necessarily, when someone loses gear, sure someone gains it. But the person who lost it, is still without. With salvage it makes it so you could always take the crappy gear you don't want and get materials and make something you want. Which sort of feeds back into the material market, which...

How to prevent people from deleting items after looting!

In LiF you couldn't outright delete items easily, had to loot items and carry them with you and if you really just wanted to keep them from the enemy you could just drop them in a bush somewhere until they decayed. We had no issues whittling down multiple guilds of 30+ in battles that could...

How to prevent people from deleting items after looting!

Well if you don't actually want the loot, just picking it up and dropping it somewhere else is basically enough to keep them from coming back to regear though.

How to prevent people from deleting items after looting!

The loot is still gone though? So how is it carebear to expect people to actually have to deal with the consequences? If anything you are on the fence of carebearism here, you're the one who want it easy. You kill someone, if you want to make sure they or someone else dont get the loot, grab...

    27th November stress test

They auctioned off blades yes, but a ton of them. one realm consisted of 4 of these blades during vanilla release. they later increased the blade amount, not sure on how many was ever mentioned. But seeing as server caps doubled, i'd guess the amount of blades per realm doubled? It's really up...

    27th November stress test

Vanilla WoW never worked on one unified server. Their entire server structure worked in the way that one game server would consist of several server blades that would handle different parts of the game world. Much like MO1's node system. An entire realm in WoW could hold around 2500-3000...

    27th November stress test

Well it is sort of meant to be a broken mess. They want us to break the servers so they get information on how many people break it and where. If it ends up flowing flawlessly we have not brought enough people!

    27th November stress test

Lets make this stress test the biggest clusterfudge of all time. Get everyone you know to download the game, lets give the servers a what for! I'll be downloading it on my second pc and having the grill play some, and bother the hell out of my friends until they download the client. Lets...

My review of the combat / changes so far.

Yet some people prefer that we adjust blocking arcs for 10 years and leave it at that.... :sneaky:

How to prevent people from deleting items after looting!

Carry capacity is pretty high, its pretty easy to just snag all the loot from someone's body and carry it with you. Then they'd have to kill you to get it back. Also if you grab things like weapons and some select armor pieces even if they grab the rest of their stuff if the priest is nearby...

How to prevent people from deleting items after looting!

I'd rather default function is dropping items on the ground. And as @Amadman says, destroying should be an action that you have to do, taking time. Or maybe even require a fireplace to burn the item, to speed things up. If clutter is a problem, just make items congregate to the nearest lootbag...
