Combat is boring, a note to Henrik.

Because the combat speed right now is perfectly fine and fighting is fun for the majority of players. RIP ice-skating.

    Does weapon weight affect movespeed?

Oh lawd dat patrol. Gotta see how chunky my leggings can be and keep patrolin'

    Does weapon weight affect movespeed?

Just curious what all effects move speed. It seems armour weight as well as inventory effects movespeed. Does your weapon weight effect movespeed as well? Also how much can you carry in your inventory without being effected?

    Bravo on the combat!

The combat right now feels like art. The more I hunt for that perfect swipe or stab the more it feels more responsive and realistic then even Mordhau. I had a duel yesterday where I got 6 perfect stabs and slashes in a row and pretty much decided the match. The positioning the baiting. It was...

Concerning the state of "Beta" Release.

I thought it more an alpha stress test no?

What specs do I need to run 2440p / 144 fps at max graphics

I have an 8 year old PC with a 1070 and the game runs great on medium/high gfx 60fps constantly at 1080p. Im surprised at how great this game looks and runs in alpha tbh.

Naw more they nerfed my pure human fighter even more and buffed the ugly half-orcs. But losing a full kit cause of con-loss was the last straw. Not worth the stress.

This was how I quit MO1. Internet crashed and got killed afk with cronite and ogmium weps. If I get killed fully geared cause I have to log out in a bush and take care of my kids, I'm fucking done with MO2

    One handed swords are weak

Lol ;) maybe its just a brown nose post.

    One handed swords are weak

1 handed hammers feel way better. The 1 handed swords have almost no benefits right now. Will they be more powerful vs lightly armoured mages?

My review of the combat / changes so far.

For sure, I actually can't find anything wrong with what we have now. MO1 vets keep comparing a fully fleshed out combat experiance ala MO1 with a skeleton framework MO2 combat. It gives me so much hope for the direction this game will take. Honestly shocked by how good everything looks and...

Poll: Do You Like The New Combat

Feels great, looks great. Perfect base. Add kicks, speacial moves, bleed, stagger, magery, ogmium, cronite, min/max customization and it gonna shine like a diamond!!

My review of the combat / changes so far.

The combat is great as a starting point. Henrik knocked it out if the park. Once customization is available, min/maxing, kicks, magery, etc its going to be glorious. Glad to see MO1's figure skating competition combat dead and gone.

    Bravo on the combat!

It's all a matter of perspective, from a game design standpoint it is a perfect base, stock to this game. Once you add ogmium, cronite, and community min/maxing, clade gifts, kicks, staggers, grapples, bleeding, magery and more offensive tools this combat will be like none other. MO1 combat...

very first impressions of the alpha

The combat feels nice to me too. It should feel turtlie right now without kicks and other speacial moves. I love how fights look real now instead of figure-8 ice skating like MO1.

My review of the combat / changes so far.

It will change once kick and more offensive strike moves are added. Add cronite and Oghmiun weapons, racial perks and the combats gonna be insane. What we have right now is the bread and butter without the community min/max tweaking. It's a perfect base to grow from.

My review of the combat / changes so far.

Once you add offensive speacial moves, like a kick defense will be broken easier. Right now it's a perfect starting point for base combat.
  18. Grudge Bringer

    Bravo on the combat!

The pace feels perfect. You can figure 8 attack as well as stand your ground and turtle. It looks realistic as well. Starting from a strong defense phase will shine once more offensive moves are added. Bravo to Henrik and the MO team. The good hit takes skill. MO1 was just figure skating...

    Weakspot/Bleed/Stun

Not necessarily. It can be perfectly balanced, weakspot, etc via the types of weapons and armor that prevent it. Yes a small amount of luck would be involved but that's life. Knowing your chances is a skill as well.
