Some Granum Rock Textures Look Too Similar To Calx Textures

There is also around 5+ different rock textures that are all granum at the moment, whereas all other rock types only have one. So once you know what all the other rock types look like, you'll know that if it's not one of them it's probably granum.

    Yes, there's some outside Fabernum.

    Archery Aiming - Poll

Although I can see where you're coming from and I do agree that a lot of people probably are indifferent to this, this thread is not aimed to see how many people are indifferent, its purpose is to see how much interest there is in changing the aiming system from a reticle system to a tip based...

    Archery Aiming - Poll

I did address that, by stating that the arrow tip can be made to line up with the centre of the screen at full draw. I am also making the assumption that they will fix the angle of the arrow so that it makes sense and follows a logical flight path. The question is not if you want them to...

    Archery Aiming - Poll

This is how real archery works, however. Shooting long distance with a longbow, you do in fact use the tip for reference. Lining up your target and then raising the bow in the air above the target is how to shoot in real life unless you're using a modern bow with sighting and zeroing mechanics...

    Archery Aiming - Poll

I think it's less a question of what we want to suggest based on their resources, and more a poll on what the players actually want. If you could have anything in the world for an archery aiming system, would it be tip based, or reticle based?

    Archery Aiming - Poll

This is how the MO1 archery system worked. You aimed with the arrow tip and the tip would sway around on your screen at different speeds based on how fast you were moving.

    Archery Aiming - Poll

I completely understand where you're coming from in that you just want a functional system whether that takes the form of a reticle or the tip, and that's entirely fair. I assure you though it is possible to have a tip based system with accurate and predictable aiming, so if we can have an...

    Archery Aiming - Poll

Soupy made a thread about this recently, but I thought it could use a public poll so Star Vault can see the distribution of how many people prefer the more immersive system of aiming with the arrow tip instead of the reticle with a charge circle. I believe the aiming reticle is redundant, and...

Combat is boring, a note to Henrik.

Late reply, but notice how every single game you listed uses low ping only regional servers where the average ping is probably <50? That's why it's different, and why what I said matters.

    Archery

I couldn't agree more with this. We have everything we need conveyed to us already through the visible bow and animation, the reticle and circle is redundant, provided they change the point of aim to not be so high above the arrow tip as it is right now. Hopefully we see some changes to this soon.

No default flagging, optional flagging for advanced player towns only

Exactly, and the easiest way to grief someone is to take all their hard earned belongings, and seeing as no belongings are hard earned at the moment (Unless you're one of the few who has made some cronite) that incentive isn't there yet.

No default flagging, optional flagging for advanced player towns only

Barcode hit the nail on the head with this one. The only reason we don't see mass griefing in towns is because there is no reason to do so, as you gain literally nothing from killing someone other than the fun of the fight, which can be had with many people who want to fight you already. The...

You don't remember me from MO1 because I didn't play MO1 with this name. I'm seriously not trying to brag, but I haven't lost more than a handful of duels since the ping normalization was added, so i'm not sure what you're referring to. Unless you mean you were running circles around me...

My comments about stamina are not insulting to anyone, unless you're one of those people who does the things I mentioned. They're observations about what I have seen in the game, MO1 and MO2. At no point did I say "I am the best stamina manager in the entire game" nor did I personally attack...

Yes I am Australian, I have an average of 295 ping to the server not counting the internal processing time. I can understand how you might think this would affect the way I play, but due to the ping normalization system I can actually play very competitively now with such high ping, and the...

I did not claim there is no problem, I simply pointed out a few factors that might play into someone thinking we should have more stamina or higher stamina regeneration. Stamina in MO1 worked the exact same way actually, except for the fact that we regenerate stamina out of combat mode at the...

Yes and in this very accurate analogy, I played MO1 for almost 10 years and given that we are currently playing a near identical version of that stamina system I think I can safely say I know how it works. I already gave you specific examples of things that people do and don't do as reference...

I don't spend my time making highlight reels of myself to stroke my own ego. Also to use your football analogy, remember that loads of world class coaches have been overweight and couldn't run more than 10 meters without falling over, yet they understand the game perfectly and can devise...

I assume ignorance because I see ignorance in basically every video of a real fight posted so far in the alpha, as well as MO1 for that matter. One of the most important crucial things you can do to better manage stamina is to stand still as much as possible, whereas most people tend to walk in...
