But the gathering part is nice. A lot of different things are gatherable and the world feels full of content and alive. Unlike MO where you can stumble across areas that are basically death and contain hardly anything interactable.

With PVE I mean fighting monsters. Blocking feels not worth it. You can't reliably dodge AI attacks. The best way is simply spamming attacks. Those weapon abilities do 10x damage of an auto attack. So your open the figt with spamming your 2 abilities, than you spam auto attacks until your...

I made it to Iron and crafted a few basic weapon like some 1h mace. Unfortunately I lacked the flax to craft decent armor. Tried some PVE mobs (humanoids) but they destoryed me hardcore. I was actually wondering the same thing a few months ago and tested it myself. The result was that it does indeed add somwehre between 25% and 30% damage to auto attacks.
