While the free month has not started, I think compensating the playerbase with some additional game time would be a gesture of goodwill. It would also go a long way to retain or bring back new and existing customers (people who have decided to buy into something you're offering in a free market...

Going to go play other games for the time being until SV sorts out the server queue. Haven't been able to log in at all since the 26th and don't anticipate that I'll be able to get in any time soon.

Unless it is a grinning horse, then it always wins. 🙂

I have a feeling that the population will die down before SV manages to fix the server queue issues. Some of those who leave may come back after a week or two, but the rest will likely refund and move on to other games.

Haven't been able to log in for the past 3 days now, even after the 1.0.0.8 patch I'm still stuck in the queue waiting endlessly.

Some potentially good news, hopefully the upcoming patch will turn things around:

@Docxx Use your fists to kill a few farm pigs outside the town walls and skin their carcasses, take what materials you could use for crafting and sell the rest. Use the money you gained to buy yourself another starter sword and woodcutting axe or pickaxe as needed, and you're back on your feet.

In hindsight, not starting the subscription during this time was a smart move while the server is in limbo for all those who cannot log in. It is likely to confer a little grace period for SV in the eyes of all those waiting in the queue.

Graveyards can usually be found not far from the outskirts of town, or in the case of Tindrem, within its city walls to the west of the city square. Look for an arch entrance with torches that lead into the dark.

I got in earlier today and the server had no wait time for login but booted me a few times at random while I was playing. It seemed to boot others off as well, as when I logged back in the players who were standing around logged back in as well (skeleton growing flesh). Massively good start...
