Henrik answers that there are at least plans to open the brokers on the mirrors. So there must be some reason that they are not able to have brokers initially.

If you are seriously not worried about the account then maybe you could just put in a dispute of the charge with your credit card provider. They may put temp restrictions on your account and not accept chargers from that card anymore. But really that is more their loss if you are not worried...

Yeah, you can add many more things to that list. Like Thieving, lockpicking, graves, sunken ships, relics, sarduccaa, other magic schools, buy orders, armor sets, TC, sieging, ect.. it is only a small fraction of the first game at this point.

There are a lot of people that choose to stay in haven over waiting in the que. I am sure there will be plenty that would do the same here. Especially seeing you will be able to build up resources and gold there to use when you do make it into the mainland.
