World Sucks (But could easily be good)

To explore the world in this game is one of the most toxic things I have ever experienced. It's so bad. It could be good, but as is it's just complete aids tbh.

The problem really boils down to a few things.

1) The way mobs leash. It's so aids. Way too long do these mobs leash. I will dismount fight something, and then 4 other mobs come out of nowhere and grief you. Like where did they even come from? It's so toxic. Then lets say your running around and you got a bunch of razorbacks on you. It gets ridiculous. You look behind you there is like 9 mobs following you for 2 minutes straight. It's so stupid. It also prevents you from fighting the mobs you want to fight. De-aggroing all the shit that is following you to then try to isolate and fight the mobs you want is so unnecessarily tedious. It's not fun at all. Just aids.

2) There is nothing in the POI's worth looting. You have all these neat little spots to explore but none seem to have anything of value. Why even have them in the game then? I don't get it. Huge missed opportunity.

3) You die and for some reason this game doesn't even have the decency to show you where a priest is or where your body is. I am used to this to some extent now but I'm sure this is still farming many /uninstalls from random newbies to this game. Not to mention with all the locked priests ghosting around can get pretty frustrating really quick. Your running around hoping for a priest that may or may not exist. Almost a step backward from not having any player priests when you think about it. Would a red beam in the sky be so hard to do to show which player placed priests you can use?

4) Why the fuck do mobs just grief your mounts for no reason? Like wtf. These clown NPC's just go right for your horse for some reason. Like seriously. So fucking toxic.

5) Outlaws popping out of the ground with other outlaws by the original spawn is aids. I died twice today running past outlaws a bit to dismount and fight them to only dismount into another pack of outlaws and get greifed. You don't even have time to react. Just dismount and insta die. Like just space them out a little more. Let people fight 3-4 at a time not 6-8. It's just frustrating for no reason.

6) A lot of these mobs are placed to close together. Groups go to dungeons, Solos/duos explore the world. Nobody is going around with groups to do bandit camps so don't you think maybe you could make the pulls more reasonable. Pulling 4+ mobs at a time kinda aids for someone trying to explore and learn the game.

Last two point potentially arguable. Maybe people are exploring as a group and I just don't see it for some reason. But first 4 points are no brainers. Like come on. Give me a break @ Star Vault.

what is even the point of outlaws? at least every other creature sorta makes sense in its environment and lives in the world.

outlaws feel like a slap in the face from devs. cant stand to see someone taking a rest beside the river in their wilderness :(

they really just hinder any kind of player content from happening out there

The lore behind it is kind of like, have you ever seen that movie "The Hills Have Eyes"?

I both agree and disagree with some of your points. I think the game is supposed to make you feel vulnerable and at risk at all times so riding around the razorbacks or avoiding certain spawns should be in your interest if you feel you can't handle them.
However, I agree 100% that outlaws are over used, oppressive and bad game design and the "postive feedback" SV got after they were introduced were wrongfully perceived by Henrik to be the entire system itself, when it was rather the fact that their rare drop rates were crazy and people were dopamine looting these guys to no end. Droprates have since been nerfed so all that remain is as system that ganks you even if players don't.
Also, pets should in my opinion not be on the aggro list unless they have dealt damage to a mob, so I totally agree with you here. Getting your mount killed in the middle of nowhere is not fun for anyone and will especially have new players rage quit or uninstall.

My suggestion to improve dynamic spawns is this:
They should only ever spawn as ONE outlaw/outcast, but they can drop an item that can be activated within a certain time frame, let's say 60 seconds after looting it, otherwise the item becomes unusable.
When you click this item it spawns 1-4 of the mob type that dropped it that you then get to fight.

What this would mean is that getting ambushed is no longer as deadly since you can usually handle a single spawn, and it also means you have the OPTION of clicking the item if you're looking to farm them, otherwise you can just move on with your life.

I agree with a few of the points you mentioned here such as npc enemies targetting a horse or the long leash times, and so did Star Vault this most recent patch actually lowered/turned down outlaw spawns so we can more easily explore the world or interact with the regular wildlife throughout the map. However some of the mechanics you mentioned are just part of the game such as marking player priests, I'd say that will be something you will come to learn in play areas you are active around eventually, just like you need to learn where certain pois or areas are relative to self taught landmarks.

However I think saying something so vague such as "World sucks" is a little too aggressive in this case, I quite enjoy the world, map and exploring the lore and regions, I genuinely think that some of the unique and cool areas are such simply because they have no monetary or actual real benefit to finding them, just because they exist, its very similar to real world areas as well, what if you've found a beautiful area on the map with an impressive view of waterfalls but it had a chest with some slightly valuable item in it?, I think it would ruin the experience that provides if people end up just glazing over it for the loot instead.
