Why have a forum?

Why have a forum when theres no announcements or updates about the game?

Last patch note was released 2021 2 december.

With all these current problems with a majority not being able to login without having a qeueless qeue thats endless, there is not a single update from the devs or anything on the forum.

Whats the point of having this forum if the only place devs and such will post is discord, which also is pretty stupid because a lot of people actually dont want to download additional software to view information that is supposed to be on the games own forum, this is very lazy.

A Forum is a chat box in which I post writing. They exist in many places. I like them.

Looking factsup in a categorised & threaded forum with 'consistently registered' users is far easier than looking things up in Discord. A forum can be (and this one is) indexed by search engines. It's basic and takes only a browser or simple phone app to operate. SV has no good excuse for not using this one more effectively.

their 'hardest fail' per se is not updating patch notes n stuff since d2. But I mean, generally that means things are not swimmingly.
