Dexterity Class Weapons: My idea of a dexterity weapon for this game, is super fast and overwhelming with the amounts of attacks you can put out compared to normal swords. Less damage, but more attacks = physiological warfare.
- Rope Dart/Meteor Mace This would be so freaking bad ass to see in game. Might be super op due to it being hard to tell where the attacks are coming from. I have no clue how to make this work other then when equipped have it in an animation loop. Would be really neat to see this in a 3D game! The heads could be just be dagger heads or mace heads on a small, medium, large rope.
- Nunchucks Bruce Lee! These would be sick as well, especially when dual wielding comes out.
- Sais Just a faster smaller sword.
- Staff normal staffs would be cool to see.
- Flail Short one handed flails with an option for 1-3 maces. As well as Pole Flails. I think this would be cool to give the slow weapons a chance to not be so predictable. So the hit comes just after the swing. Also they fit in the game af.
- Double Sided War Hammers They are currently in game but you cant switch grips, Would also be cool to do the Mordhau grip for swords. If Mordhau grip gets added, it could not go off club skill but instead do more durability damage.
- Plumbatas Easy to use, but very unreliable. Would be cool to have these so everyone can have access to throwing weapons W/O using skill points.
- Bolas Cool, even cooler if there was a stun mechanic, to temporarily render the target useless for 1-2 sec.
- Boomerangs, Chakram, one or the other, not much different then throwing knives tbh unless the boomerangs would come back if missed targets.
- Javelins Spear that leaves hand. As a Native American would call it.
- Gas potions, Smoke bombs sound cool dont they, But I think they will be irrelevant af, because the smoke cloud cant be that big. But a AOE poison gas like mustard gas or something would be cool. I think it would be better to mask movement over a flash potion rather then a small cloud of dark smoke.
- Stamina drain potions. Poison arrows, daggers are gonna be a thing so why not have a stamina drain potion. It can be direct or applied over time like poison. Even an AOE effect.
- Identity potion With the corps of a dead race, you can temporally change into that race. Maybe even that specific person with enough heads of that player. The length could be debated. But while the other race your build stays the same, You however get to spec clade gifts of that race....
- Shape Shifting Potions. With my recent endeavor of looking up MO1 videos Ive discovered Magic is fkin op. The stuff you could do as a mage made it dumb to not play as a mage. From turning into a black skeleton with 12 legs (Not sure what it did only seen it) to blowing your friend over the walls of a keep with air burst, to grabbing loot bags from a far. It would be neat to be a druid like alchemist and take corps of dead animals to temporally turn into them. Think of it, 3 people come to gank you. Let me just drink this bear potion and maul them to death real fast. A lot of people in the distance on horses, Let me drink this springbok potion and walk right past them. Got a heavy load turn into a horse or Campadon. Want to move loot fast turn into a Cougar. "Thats op" It can be op but it can also be balanced. The duration can be based off the amount of corps in the potion, already restricting it based off the natural potion unit restriction. You arnt just gonna turn into the animal from making a potion full of a corps (Thats the same as eating it pretty much) Its gonna have to have some good stuff in it to make the change take effect witch will use up Potion Unit space. It could also be determined by a multiplier that is rare and or cost a lot.
- Invisibility potions of course!
- Skill boosting potions, Adds levels to action/profession skills to increase them and going over max for a short time. Dexterity potions make u faster, more stamina. Strength adds strength.... Profession potions give a 5min boost and increase you skill 25-50 points so you can truly craft a one of a kind piece of armor/weapon, and if furniture in a house gives you rested xp or makes you read faster while offline, or some kind of buff you can drink a potion to increase your craftsman's ship and make a Legendary piece of furniture/statue.
- Sling Nah but fr these things are mass weapons of war. Should definitely get its own skill set not just a sub of archery. Skill could be faster wind up to take less time to fire. "Run and gun" You should be able to use this while running with a negative effect of accuracy. A sub class could be Bolas besides Bolas being in throwing weapons. You Should have the option to use on a horse. You could use piles of mined stone for ammo but it should effect accuracy heavily. But basic refining skill could make the ammo out of metal bars, its not anything that has to be a specific shape or edge, just a basic ball casting. Crafters could make ammo out of clay/stone with just some sculpting tools. Different ball casting/crafting size effect speed and damage. A tailor could make the weapon it self out of cotton, silk, leather, wool... Different length slings effect range, damage, firing speed.
