Underwater Resources and Loot

Has there been any information about underwaters having specific resources or even loot? (e.g Sunken Chests). I think it would make exploration more fun and also make Swimming based characters more viable.

there seaweed and other plants and thing in water

there is brown shorekelp ( alchemy and maybe cooking ? ) and argus sponge ( same but with big vendor price ) idk about anything else

We had sunken ships and chests in the first game so I am hopeful that they will return.

Also there has been talk of an actual underwater area/continent that is supposed to be part of the world lore.

So hopefully we get to see that at some point in time.
