The only way to fix the servers

By now its pretty obvious that its imposible for Starvault to actually fix their servers. And thats ok, companies with much better devs/servers like NW couldnt either. They didnt have a CEO obsessed with a one server world tho. So the only solution to this problem is for 98k players to quit the game as the server can only hold 2k players. And to be honest, even if it could fit the 100k the game is not designed for that many people anyways. Can you imagine trying to use Fabernum or Tindrem or insert city here bank with 10k-20k people around?

We as a community must unite and make as much people quit as possible if we want to play anytime soon. Change all your steam reviews to negative. If you do get in the game, try to grief as much noobs as possible, shit talk them, teabag them, whatever it takes. Be as toxic as possible. Tell as many people as you can that this game sucks and they shouldnt play it. If we all come together for a common goal Im sure we can one day be able to play the game again.

Conceive, believe, achieve.

I hate to say it but so far the most realistic solution is to let the player base lose players in mass. So far all the solutions thrown at us have only made things worse.

The map can easily hold 10k players, especially if a few more banks are spread out across the map. Right now cities are still far from overpopulated despite 2k people sitting afk inside of them.

Can the servers? Probably not based on what we've seen over the past 2 weeks, but Henrik claimed today that a patch tomorrow will resolve some of this. Almost certainly not the case, but we'll see.

There's the question of 'hwy', though.

Do you not think enough playerrs... I mean, people currently trying to play... will stop trying for technical reasons? Is more dickery & toxicity on the part of other players even necessary?

I think we can dismiss this argument, which only holds...
MO1 was playable with 200 players. We dont need that many players.
If one ignores what @Henrik Nyström said about needing 8k subscriptions to break even. SV isn't going to serve up the game (if it ever can) as a charity.

Henrik doesnt even visit these forums btw, so no point tagging him

And the servers capacity is at most for 2k players. So he wont break even either way xD

Instead of two servers, to prevent a future dead one, they could just add another "instance" or "channel" of Myrland for the time being. Similar to how Black Desert does it, make a MAIN channel with house building and keeps, sieges, events, etc. Then the second will be for just the rest of the game. Then they can add or remove channels/instances depending on the population. If we truly can only have say 3000 players on at a time and we have 9000 players then we need 3 instances. Once it drops to 6000 remove one.

Most of the people super interested in the games politics and such will stay on the main channel anyway, and the other people who just want to play (that will end up quitting if they can't) will have access to the game outside of Haven.

They have hundreds on instances of Haven. So why could this not be possible? Its the only solution I could think of that would be easy to adjust for when the population stabilizes in the future.
