Tamer Question: Pet runs away from combat with zombies/bandits

I’ve been playing a tamer on MO2, as it was a really enjoyable class when i players UO…. Who didn’t like having 10 dragons to unleash .

I have taming 91, with creature control 100. This bear will actively fight when commanded, but at some point he stops and tries to run away from the zombie. The black bear is level 60, so i definitely have the pet points, with loyalty at the lowest 900/1000 and hunger under 300/1000. Even after I gave it some time and the loyalty is 1000/1000 and hunger is less than 100/1000, it still runs from combat.

What am i missing or doing incorrectly?

Maybe he's tired fighting all your battles, give the little guy a break.

its probably caused by lag if youre on the mainland. If youre on Haven, no idea

I think it happens due problems with AI and physical models - sometimes bandits get too close to (almost into) a pet so that it walks a few steps away and so on. Just order your pet to follow you and initiate combat in slightly different place.
Or try to re-login. If your pet has grown, it's model won't change unless you reload the game, and it seems to cause troubles with colliding system. At least for me such bugs occured most often at those moments.

It might be nothing you are doing wrong. The Greatest Hunter in Mortal Online 2 had a White Bear that wouldn't attack Sators.

Alternative explanation: A Zombie Bandit once removed a thorn from your Black Bear's paw, and a Black Bear never forgets a kindness.

But I favour the explanation that it is a Bug.
