Roaming task givers.

Is it possible that the task npc's could be mobile and roam both in and out side of the city they are at?

Kind of like the guy you had to kill for his head for thieves books in the first game.

This could allow those that are not allowed in a city the possibility of getting and turning in tasks to that location.

Though it would be a bit more risky for them to do so.

You could have your romaing <Task Giver> go all the way from the outskirts of one town to another, in addition to the ones who stay home. Just be sure to catch him before he's more than half-way there, and you can save him a trip?

I like that as well. It would be like they are the delivery people and you are assisting them.

It would give people who are or might be looking for a task they do not have to go into town to get to 'run into' each other, which could make for interesting scenarios & decisions.
