Please add boats

In any form.
Theres already a swimming system and a map mostly bordered by ocean. This game tops so many things in what im looking for in an mmo EXCEPT for any type of boat system. (valheim boat system would be a good model)
So I ask selfishly, pretty please with cherry on top, add a boat system.

Like Xunila said, they've said they have to do wagons before they can do boats because the boat systems will naturally pull from the wagon systems. So we need wagons first—then we can get boats. From the way Henrik's talked about it on streams, it seems like they want wagons sooner rather than later. There's no known estimate as to when that'll be, though.

Another remark from an old stream or some other announcement one or two years ago: Boats could come together with a "water continent" where boats are required to move between the islands. But even with one continent per year this could be years away. At the current state without islands boats make no sense. The small islands in the south can be reached easily by swimming.
