Since last patch you can't cancel your swing aka feint unless your holding your left mouse button. This makes it feel very clunky and not fluid like before. We need more aggresive options not less. Please put it back how it was, thanks
Let us cancel our attacks again without having to hold the mouse button.

Yeah you could tap a swing without holding it and could cancel it with ctrl at any time during the swing before it released.
That would make sense.
Yeah, I haven´t been tryin feints much since the latest patch. Mostly trying to make the spam work for me. Failing so far.

There still a small windup even if you only do a click tho, you should be able to cancel at any point during the windup.

You can only cancel the attack while still in the windup phase.
When clicking to do the fastest possible attack this windup phase only lasts about 200ms, so you barely have time to cancel the swing.
It may look like it's charging for longer, but that's because the swing animation is blended from the charge into the release.
The reason why you could click and feint before was because clicking played the full windup time anyway but just did no damage.
Simply charge for slightly longer if you want to feint.
