Inventory when exiting Haven

At the moment you can leave Haven with 6 items and that can include a maximum of 3 gold.

How about you let people exit Haven with a full inventory ? Others have been able to accumulate wealth in the real world for quite a long time now. Would only be fair to allow that atleast.

The difference is the complete safety of Haven so it's not quite balanced

There had been many discussions in the forum during last year about this. Finally StarVault reduced the limit more and more, which had been requested by many players. In my opinion even the option to leave just with armor and weapons but without any inventory would be fine! Players should not farm thousands of gold coins in Haven in complete safety and then move this gold to Myrland over and over again.

Yeah, but we can't leave Haven that's the problem. It's the right choice when you can just go to mainland and play there, but we can't, can we ?

Yeah, this is extremely balanced when only 1-3% of playerbase gets to mainland to acquire wealth, land and actually play the game. Balance was thrown out of the window on day 1.

Players who've tried to get into the game and couldn't so far are unfortunate (considering that they've been waiting for nearly two weeks), and I sympathise.

On the other hand, they're in the same position as new players will be from months and years to come (if the game survives, that is). They're starting later. Some others are already established to a greater or lesser degree. That condition is nothing new; that part is how every game works.

Some, of course, haven't even been able to get into Haven in order to have anything to bring from there. If they suddenly could get into Haven right about *now*, they'd have less time to accumulate anything there before things are fixed (or until things are given up as permanently unfixable, in a worst-case scenario).

But how much wealth can 1 full inventory actually hold, keeping in mind you still need to be able to move too ? Is it even that much ? If the gold limit was, let's say 25 gold - and as much items/resources as you can carry. You would still be kinda poor, right ?

not allowing mass exits of gold is good - the economy would be TRASH if haven players had full inv swapping, you would also see mass guilds alt spamming to push out exports from haven constantly.
