With Flux you can reroll the stats of a ring. This can be compared to the devine Orb in Path of Exile.
In POE we had so many orbs that did different things. The System in POE was great and developed over years and one reason which made the game such a success ! a reason why it could inspire other game developer. Imo we need more crafting Items for trinkets then just Flux.

As you can see in this screenshot we had Implicit and explicit properties. There were many rings with different implicit properties.
1. Add ... to maximum Life
2. Regenerate ... Life per second
3. 0,... % of Physical Attack Damage Leeched as Life
4. ... Life gained on Kill
5. Add ... to maximum Mana
6. ... increased Mana Regeneration Rate
7. ... Mana per second
8. ... Physical Attack Damage Leeched as Mana
9. ... Mana gained on Kill
10. ... Adds ... physical damage (Slasing, Piercing, Blunt)
Just to mention some !
The game had Orbs that rerolled the implicit property of a ring.
An Orb that reroll the numeric values of an implicit property
We had Orbs that could reroll the explicit properties of a ring (devine Orb) (can be compared to flux)
We had Orbs that randomly rerolled the numeric explicit properties of a ring
An Orb that remove 1 random explicit property of a ring
an Orb that add 1 explicit property of a ring.
We had an Orb that made "white" rings "blue". In mortal Online that would be like making a Cuprum ring Silver
There was an Orb to reroll the explicit modifiers of a blue item (in Mortal Online Silver Flux)
This ring could then made golden (adding new stats) If they are bad the ring could be made white (cuprum again) with another Orb, to make him later silver reroll with silver flux till you get your desired stats and try your luck again to make it golden and hope for a good stat. Then add the orb that add 1 additional explicit modifier.
We had orbs/Fossiles that could roll specific explicit modifiers and exclude several modifiers.
Roll fire modifiers on a ring and excluded all CHaos damage modifiers and so on.
There could be a flux that roll melee modifiers and exlude all necomantic modifiers and so on.
All what i want to say is that the crafting of trinnkets could be inspired by this game !

There could be unique trinkets that allow you to increase a skill over the cap of 100. We had that in Ultima. The skill scrolls that allowed you to increase a skill to 120. This could be raid items as we had them in Ultima.
