SV waited too long with the Goldsink mechanics. TC and the upkeep cost a lot of money, but we don't have TC yet. The casino is a goldsink mechanic, and the trinkets came out fairly recently too. As a result, there is too much gold in circulation and, unfortunately, there are also too many materials that players are hoarding. How could SV Fix the Economy without a wipe ?

SV could counter inflation with a new coin. Effective immediately, the vendor could no longer accept the old gold coins. SV could implement that into the lore. The imperial bank has been cheating you and printing tipped coins for years. Therefore, new coins are no longer accepted. You could trade that 100:1 for a new Myrland Coin.

In Mortal Online 1 there was a rare vendor that popped up every now and then around the holidays. Some kind of goat man with horns. Unfortunately I forgot the name. This NPC could give out rare and one-time cosmetic items that have a high collectible value. These could cost e.g. 20 stacks of Incisium, Steel or even Cronite to drain the ammount of materials in the economy. In Albion Online there is a special vendor that recognizes which materials and weapons are currently too many and too few. This then offers the players more gold for various materials, as they would get for it in the AH from Players, if there are too many of some materials. He also buys weapons if there are too few of some weapons. These weapons sold to the NPC are then dropped as loot from the monsters. Those Items could drop as unidentified items, to make it more fun to identify them and game could generate 1-2 magical properties on them in some cases.

Maybe you guys can add more ideas, becuause SV not want to wipe the game and something have to be done to fix the economy, becuase SV decided not wait with the release, till all Goldsink mechanics are implemented.

In Albion also the ammount of materials gets reduced if you die. For excample if you carry 5000 Crepite and you die, you would only find 4200 Crepite inside your lootbag. I don´t know if this mechanic should be added, but it is a way to take out Materials of the economy. Some Items even trash on death.

The idea of value sink through death punishment even for those who recover what they were carrying would not appeal to me.

The game's economy need a little more than gold sink features, this is somewhat reductive to the problematics.
Idk why would you even mention albion's yellowzone mechanics it has absolutly nothing to do with mortal's concept.

I don't support these kind of posts that try and fail to extrapolate isolated systems from another games when we all know it doesn't work like that.
Theres no magical copypaste cure, they need to hire a professional team to re-design and balance the economy of the game. No other way to put it, and they wont get away with the minimum effort rule.

I like the blackmarket thing idea ! This way you caqn add more loot to the monsters without the loot drop from Monsters competing witht the crafters.

The Itemsink mechanic from yellowzone was just an excemple for an item sink. If it is a good one is another question.
Najwalaylah would for excemple not like it. This is a brainstorming thread, so add your opinopns how you would do it !
