This isn't a COMPLETE solution to the state of the game, but it's a step in the right direction....

First, as a solo mounted player, one thing I have found to be very aggravating is when I'm approached by a group of players, who obviously intend to kill me, I have to be the one to go criminal because I have to kill their mount before they get within earthquake range.
-SOLUTION: turning on your illegal actions toggle automatically turns you criminal, with a 10-15 second timer before you can inflict damage (so you can't flip it on at the last second when approaching someone).
--THIS IS NOT A PVP TOGGLE-- This simply gives the "prey" of the game a small leg up to know:
1. The players approaching FOR SURE want to kill you. AND
2. Allows you to stay innocent when opening fire.

Second, why can red players enter NPC towns? To promote the justice system, there has to be incentive to NOT go red. I thought that was the whole point of the city of Kranesh?

Third, earthquake dismount has to get balanced. If im a full out wheelchair build with max balance, then the open world is my domain. I should only be able to be dismounted by a mounted mage or mounted combatant or a mage/melee on foot who hits me hard enough to do so. I can't take my wheelchair into a dungeon and contend with a meta melee build, why are they allowed to enter my domain and completely dismantle me?

Fourth, add multiple exits/entrances to the gate kept dungeons. You guys have created beautiful dungeons that are only appreciated by a select few because certain guilds basically own certain dungeons.

Fifth, this one may catch me some heat but hear me out....what if there were specific areas to build homes? Currently people can completely take over certain spawns and POI's with houses. What if you could only build in a certain area that the owner of the region owns? This would also give player ran towns more of a "town" feel and not a cluster of random buildings. It would give players more of a reason to look into the different guilds values and playstyles to determine which region to build in. It would also give the random non-guilded players in a region incentive to fight in battles because they wouldn't want a worse guild to become the owner of their region.

the red towns barely ever get used.. they need to add incentive to actually go there.. like better xp tasks like a illegal delivery task, blackmarket seller or something that makes players want to go there and control it.. or maybe guilds/players could actively take over these red towns similar to that of a keep and if you hold it you gain certain buffs like passive tax money from items being sold there or something

All good suggestions, too bad SV hates good suggestions.

This game has always favoured gankers over defensive playstyle. Even the basic fact that you cant read tags until players are too close to be able to run away, shows you that SV doesn't want people avoiding fights. As a defensive “lawful” player you have to wait until they hit you first, which puts you at a disadvantage, especially as a mounted where its a race to killing the others horse.

The whole game is made to be a gankers paradise, and thats all that this game attracts. Lawful, defensive, blue players get shafted at every turn. This will never change. CEO Henrik loves the RPK playstyle.

Reds in town was not a thing in MO1. There was no need to change it, so SV did. Brainless as usual.

EQ from everyone is the result of a poorly thought out mastery system. More brainlessness by SV. Any competent dev team would have fixed this asap. Not SV though.

And yes, dungeons, valuable resources and profitable spawns should never have house spots right next to it. Anyone can understand why this is a bad thing.

Just a small sample of the endless train of bad decision from an incompetent, hard headed, short sighted Henrik.

I think they should add more grey and blue NPC towns in general. The map is kind of odd having so few NPC towns to begin with.

With more grey towns, wouldn't need to let reds in blue towns for them to have a place to go. But all that would assume SV realizes how much better and more fun having more towns would be. I'm not sure they think like that.
