Ok so here we go... This post is going to be offering some blunt and honest feedback. If you can't handle hearing others' opinions and feedback then don't read further.

After spending nearly 60 hours playing MO2 testing this week. This game is going to crash and burn without some serious changes. Greifing other players is not content and is toxic behavior that will simply destroy the game before it's launched. And it needs to be addressed and handled now. Otherwise MO2 will be a failure just like MO was compared to Darkfall.

In my 60 hours of play, I was griefed hundreds of times to the point of the game being unplayable. Having to logout for hours to make people leave me alone. For example, being in the main city and having to take the time to type out "guards" for the guards to then defend players clearly being attacked in open view. Which is basically just punishing people for asking for the guards to do their jobs on their own. City guards being extremely easy to kill and whole cities being without guards at all for hours on end.

When a player is stopping another player from meaningfully progressing through the game that they pay for, that is griefing, and should have no place in any game. Even Darkfall knew this back in the day and put measures in so EVERYONE could play. This is why MO failured.

I want a good PVP game, and unfortunately, MO2 doesn't look like it's going to be it. IMO, I would advise anyone serious about gaming to stay away from this game until some serious changes are made in-game and in the Discord on how the dev team handles griefing. If you want a dead game, feel free to ignore.

You're right about the guards. They are a joke. They don't need to be as OP as MO1...but yeah. They need work. Also doesn't help majority of them are under the ground or stuck. Oh and players are just leashing the few that are there outside of town so they can kill whoever they want in town.

While I agree with your point that current Guards/Ai/Pathing are very bad, having a negative impact, and needs to be addressed. The main reason this is happening, is because it's a stress test, there's really nothing to lose for most, and majority of the players are people with a free test key who most likely won't buy the game. So they're just fucking around until their key expires. Nothing is stopping them from acting this way.

You need to stop thinking of MO2 as an already released title, and taking it serious in it's current state. That will only cause you to burn out and get pissed off. The game has a long looooong way to go, in terms of development. SV is finally taking the right approach to things, by taking their time to release. Old SV would of released MO2 four months ago, half baked and broken. This time around they're being careful, we have Mats back and looking at Henriks stream, he looks enthusiastic and passionate again. All good signs.

Imagine complaining on a full PvP Open World game about griefing. Its the kind of game you can spend MONTHS farming minerals and get gank will refining it. Literally loose Months of work in a minute.

I think you just dont understand the game. Just the fact you are crying about dying proof its just not your kind of game. We all die all the time.
1 Advice, change city, find a guild.

I dont think you are a PvP player at all to be honest. You could not even handle a WoW PvP server and get grief since it would affect your progression.
and to be real with you.. u should probably leave. Your welcome for the advice.

There is some truth in what he is saying though. Stop pretending things are working as intended right now.

Well first of all. Starvault should start to stop pretending its a beta... when its a Pre-alpha. So kids like this would understand that the game is far from release. Yes he right the guards are not doing the job they are supposed to do. When they get aggro they dont go back to the initial Respawn Point.

But im totally against making guards stronger and im totally against baby sitting a kid that cry when he die in a HC Full loot video game. Its like if I would complain dying on DarkSoul.

There is no point complaining about the game PUBLICLY right now, we just have to wait for more content and bug fix, so after we can complain @Feedback.

Yeah I agree. He made a fair point then went to whine about it and tell people to stay away from the game lol.

So yeh. You're right.
