Hey , I'm from mo 1 (when there was still a bit of population lol ) ,I have some general question ,if anyone can give me a general feel of how mo2 seem to go compared to mo1 it's good too

First thing, I didn't and won't take the beta access , the way they make ppl pay to play and test an unfinished game just rub me the wrong way ...

BTW once the real game start , there will be a clean start for everyone , ,right? pls tell me i'm right ...

Does the game still have like 4 character slot for each account with multiple account possible ?
or do we now have 1 character with multiple speciality possibility ??

did they talk about buying sub with in game gold and adding cosmetics to earn money ? or is it still full hard cash to get full access ?

is the game gonna be the same old "guild rule and fk you soloer" ?? is walling ressource still a thing ???

what about map size ? larger ? same ? number of town ? hotspot ?? ressource node ?

about criminal status , is there any change ?

in short , is there any real or coming change to mo1 that will make the game more playable/enjoyable to soloer/small groups etc

ty for answering the questions ppl : have a nice day

Yes, clean start at persistent launch. Which will be EA on steam.

1 character only. Linked to Steam. Profession and combat skills have separate pools this time.

No cosmetics. And no talk about sub tokens or the like at this time.

Hopefully there is more for the solo type players but that is yet to be seen.

Player placed walls will no longer be a thing. Keeps will have static walls that can be rebuilt.

The map is much larger. One town is said to be comming in the next patch that was not in the first game.

Criminal status has changed slightly. There is a regional standing system now.

I am hopeful that it will be more playable as a solo player this time around. I played mostly solo in the first game. But already I find I have an easier time dealing with ai and such in this game. Possibly do to the ability to have combat skills with my professional skills.

Its still pretty tight like the first game when it comes to how many you can outright master.

With a few differences.

First off with crafting type skills you only need to get skills up to 70 to make the 'best' gear. After that it becomes more about being able to put your name on the things you craft and being able to name items. Possibly even cosmetic type changes in the future. But not sure about that.

Also there is a clade system for each race. These allow you to pick perks that can give you bonus to stats and skill points. So that can effect how many points you have available to spend on different skills as well.

I feel that they may have made a few changes when it comes to what skills are primary as well. But I am not positive about those.

One more thing I would like to add about donating to play now.

No one knows how much it will cost at release for the client and a month sub. But with the $39 donation you do get the client and a months sub time when the game does release.

Other than not being able to get a refund because its a donation, it is kind of like pre ordering the game and getting to play until it is released. Which is still months away for sure.

So, if your intentions are to get it at release anyway, then why not pay for it now and be able to access the game until then? You will essentially be getting more for you money by paying now. Even if it is just logging in to see what's new at patch times.

1.) The Devs say they will have better Guards this time around to make towns a bit safer. 2.) The Map is also much larger, to go from Fabernum to Meduli took like 30minutes on horse. To go from Fabernum to Jungle took roughly 3 hours my first time going there. 3.)1 character per a steam account, the devs want to make players work together as well as giving crafters more people to trade with. 4.) I have defeated a Boss Gravekeeper many times with just me and 1 other person so you don't need a giant guild for most content. 5.) Players can build houses, they can also build Castles each of these things don't require you to be in a guild. Guilds can create keeps however as can players. Players can make their own towns and Black List players they don't like making it so the guards of their town attack blacklisted players. Players can also have a Dragon keep their town safe. From what we know the dragon will be a very rare spawn in the wild. 6.) Let's talk magic schools, the Devs seem to be listening to the players more, recently there was a vote for what magic school you wanted in game next. And There was a lot of different magic schools to choose from it was pretty cool. So lots of new stuff to come to Mo2. :) For the beta you can play it if you want, most players are just goofing around dueling each other to practice their skills.

this stuff isnt in game by the way. Its on the “down the road” list, so dont hold your breath for dragons anytime soon. Housing (and keeps) system also not implemented yet, but will probably come before release. Or at least i hope it will.

Yeah no kidding, i really think before Mo2 releases they need more content then Mo1 did all across the board. More weapons and armor, more archery stuff, Necro, Elementalism, Spiritism, Ecumenical, should be in game before release with 1 extra school on top of that. Better house stuff, 1 more mount ect.

Oh that's one more thing the devs on the roadmap have said we are getting a new city this month. And more weapons and armor. We have a new armor in Mo2 already called Mercenary Plate, it's highest pierce damage in game right now. I'm not sure if it took the place of Draconic Armatus pierce plate armor from Mo1 though but currently only place you can find Draconic Armatus in game is from a statue i haven't seen the actual book yet.

Bladeer01, in short. not really. It's the same game, just with massively improved mechanics and environment.
The biggest changes are the map size and the fact your account has one character and is linked to your Steam account. That with the new anti-cheat I think means its very difficult to dual-box running two clients at the same time. So you are really forced into the specialise and trade style of play if you are a soloer or in a small group. Skills have been tweaked to give you more capability to have action (fighting) and a profession (crafting) at the same time.

Crafting-wise, you can now name your crafted item and stamp your name on it if your skills in the craft and associated material lores are at 100. Like the "Massive sledgehammer of great death" by Shrek, for example.

You also only require 70 skill level in the craft and associated material lores to craft maximum quality gear. Plus the clade gifts have a perk that grants you +50 profession skill points to spend, and another that adds +10 to all material lores.

All of these changes are making it possible for players to diversify their crafting portfolio on one character, without enabling them to do everything on their own and turning it into a single-player mmorpg like in EVE Online.

If everything goes well, persistent release (EA) will happen in end of september. There will be no housing at persistent release, housing and TC will come "soon" after. There will be no fishing and no thievery at persistent release. There will be 2 magic schools (ecumenical and spiritism).
There will be a clean start, meaning everyone start from "zero" though players that plays this beta for few months now will be in advantage of new players, specially knowing the map and some game mechanics.
Mostly everything is as MO1 with better graphics and optimization and for sure less buggy then MO1 at release. Not without bugs just less of them.
Its pretty much good optimized if you want to play solo or in a guild, PvE or PvP, or both. There is 1100 action skill points and 1200 profession skill points.
Just to give you a hint: I am planning to roll Adventuring Druid (traveling and transporting, mage beastmaster). Also archer. And butcher. And fisherman. And miner-extractor. Veela it is.

Keep in mind that this is PvE build. Actually, not full archer. No marksmanship, aiming technique and no controled aiming (just to be able to shoot bow to bring animals to mercy mode so you can tame some predators). Magic skills for healing you and your pets and also some AoE magic for fast farming in PvE. Full horse riding skills to be as fast as possible.

If I understand this correctly, you want to do bow AND sword crafting. Well there is not enough profession points to do both bows and swords. You need to choose one. That is two separate professions. there is bow crafting and weapon crafting. Swords are under the weapon crafting skill. Either way as someone already mentioned, its best that you buy game now (its actually donation) and you get your game and 1 month sub after game goes persistent which should happen end of september. And you can play beta until persistent is live. After that you only pays monthly sub like everyone else.
