I would like to see bush craft as a secondary skill under SURVIVAL that would allow making camp fires and crafting primitive weapons like staves, crude spears, bone and flint knives and clubs as well as cooking on a stick. and perhaps crude leather clothing. bush craft created gear should have very low durability, but be the kind of thing to keep you moving and healthy if you die and re spawn in the wilderness far from a town.
a bush craft skill might require adding dead sticks grass brush and dung as gather able items for fire fuel and tinder. just assume the skill would allow you to find suitable flint, chert, or materials to create a friction fire starter.

And tents. Tents would be nice too, just to add to the traveler-y player experience

True but that would be something you carried with you, but bush craft should allow you to build a lean to or shelter of some sort depending on skill level.
I am thinking in terms of Naked and Afraid you died in the wilds and need to acquire minimal survival gear from a naked state.

Tents or lean-tos could prompt some interesting questions.

Helps you rest wihout putting out light? Hides you from line of sight? Lets you log out... faster? Or is it just for appearance's aske?

making camp fires
With a Bushcraft *skill* as opposed to just Combining materials to make a Campfire? (Something available to everyone in MO1).
cooking on a stick.
RatOnnaStick must go on. (My Huergar Cook, Lorena Tobiath, was justly famous for hers.) "Everything tastes better on a stick."

If Mortal Online 2 has no trouble handling additional pickables, that sounds neat.

I think we should be able to make a bag (including a mount bag) in the wild with only the skinning knife. Why do we need a crafting table to make a bag out of an animal skin ?
Also the self bows. It's a stick (and string) weak bow that nobody uses otherwise anyway. And arrows obviously, out of the twigs we were able to collect in MO1. Something comparable to the Bodkins in damage.

How does it break the flow of the game? Player out in the wilds dies by mob or another player, for one reason or another does not with to death port, relies on survival skills to minimally equip himself and continue journey.

this would actually lower the dependence on towns. lol
Good for those who become murderers, I actually like the idea, if it'd get balanced right.
Ontop of that, I think it should be a primary skill, so those who take it will have to consider it seriously.

I dont think it should be a primary for any of the stuff you craft in the bush. Especially since I think it should be only basic stuff like the crappiest of shield, a basic bag, the crappy bows and arrows, a basic "staff" that can be used as a weapon, and so on. Stuff that a real person can actually craft in the bush out of woods, stones, bones and (animal) skins. I envision this as a basic way of continuing your adventure if you happen to die in the wild. Or some way of not being a defenseless lootbag if for some reason you cannot go into town. Right now you cannot properly parry/block with your fists. You need an actual weapon or shield for that.

It always been my dream to be enable to Bush Craft and build Shed right on the spot on MO. No house deed needed, no table, nathing. Easy to build and easy to destroy ( just need blunt weapon).

It would also be better for Launch if we spawn in a random place in the map and being enable to build/craft some basic stuff from Scratch.(Less trafic in city when there gonna be 2000-3000player online)

It always been my "vision" of mortal, a bit like rust and mortal mixed together. You can just spawn, shop some wood/fiber, collect some stone/flint and start to build primitive weapon, tools and shed.

PS: henrik have a different vision and im fine with it tho, not a big deal if these thing never get implemented.

I disagree. the items you craft in the wilds should be very low durability and damage. The weapons should be simple things like staves, spears with bone points or just sharpened and fire hardened point and clubs. armor just simple fur or leather robes. very basic stuff that puts you only a little above running around naked.

I would say that even a shield is going a bit far, but crude spears, clubs, and perhaps even crude self bows with very limited range and durability.
