No one wants to farm bosses if all they give is enough materials to armor up to one or two of the 5+ people that show up to kill it.

You would instantly have boss content outside of sight seeing if they were actually worth farming. If everyone got enough mats from one kill to make it worth while then they would go back for more.

Most of the group content doesnt reward the group but you need a group to do it.

If a group got enough mats from one kill to make a set of armour for everyone of the "6+" people comprising the "everyone", why would they go back for more sooner and / or more frequently?

Do you not think that there is a issue that people dont go and farm bosses? If there is a issue of content not being used by players do you leave it along or try to make players want to go do it?

So far everyone who Ive spoken to has the same opinion of that would farm bosses if they dropped more materials. The reason they dont is because other materials are available and Its not worth the time to go farm them if only one person in the group will have enough for a item.

It depends on how good the boss loot is. If it drops an equivelant of messing, it should drop enough to make armor for everyone. If it drops a cronite tier material, it should drop enough for 1. Obviously the loot should be better gain per time spent than if someone was just sitting mining. Obviously bosses dont actually drop steel so its not whats faster killing the boss or mining. But when people can trade, if its easier to farm gold and buy the boss loot, then the boss doesnt drop enough. And if the boss doesnt drop enough, the price of its drop could go up and be worth more than it should be, making it not worth buying. So yields are definitely a fine balance.

I did not ask about how many sets of armour a player needs; I am well aware that we recommended having at least two on hand.

I did not ask if people not farming bosses might not be an issue. IF people are not farming bosses, then that is an issue—
Not going to stipulate that it's for any reason that you might provide, except in reference to yourself, either. Those are not what I posted, which was this question.

If a group got enough mats from one kill to make a set of armour for everyone of the "6+" people comprising the "everyone", why would they go back for more sooner and / or more frequently?

It's pretty simple and I'm sure you could explain it if only from your own point of view.

Leave it unanswered, and I will draw my own conclusions about your statement.

It will be something along the lines of groups that you go to kill bosses in not wanting to go back— with you— the two additional times that it might take (at your estimate) to get enough armour for the entire group of five or so.

Maybe you've got a better source of getting more armour of similar quality as that you'd get from the bosses and you do that instaed— eoubt it.

That's not a question; it's a surmise for lack of a cogent answer.

I withdraw the original question, unanswered, as— in your case— it's not rewarding to care.

I'll wait until someone else less shorty takes up the issue.
