I don't think they have ever deleted characters other than wipes.

It has pretty much became thievery or bust for me. I really don't see myself returning unless they get lock picking in. Not sure if my house is still up, but I have not subbed for a bit now. I am more likely to start logging into MO1 again where I can still lockpick, do mazes, find buried...

Its a real shame seeing a large part of the original games soul was actually in the forums.

I always hated the introduction of these. A living breathing world has no place for these instant spawns. Players should fill these types of surprise encounter roles.

I have already drifted pretty far from the game while waiting for such core parts of the original game to return. If thievery/lockpicking is not in the next road map then I will most likely not be looking back.

For me Lockpicking is what I am looking for with thievery. If they make it an actual player skill again then I guess a late game boost would not really be too beneficial for lockpicking. Other than being able to possibly shave off some points for other things.

I am somewhat in the same mindset. Plus Pax is still quite unknown to me. So there is a bit more new to experience. Not sure how long that "new smell" will last, but the last two testing phases both left me wanting to experience more.

Yeah, I can see a few sides. They may just be doing it to build hype and starting fresh after. Or they could be trying to get somethings in the world for release. I would prefer a fresh start on early access personally.

Yeah, no doubt that was an issue as well. I hope future voting will be done in game while logged into an account. Some with multiple accounts will still get more weight. But it will at least not be wide open.

If they make their choice with a similar poll as last time then thievery will most likely not make it again. Allowing people to give weight to everything just brings the middle things to the top. That's why we mostly got things like, new armor, new creatures, new dungeons ect... These are...

Not very far in the short amount of time I had honestly. But I think I got most of the basic tables anyway. And was processing wrought iron. Every thing seemed to take a lot of time and effort. But we really did not have the time. It should go better when things are persistent.
