you need to hold right click for years, some minutes afterwards the fish do start losing strength and you can reel a bit in between pulls, it takes forever.

I Think they are constantly tweaking fish rarity server side, so this change may be end up being a net positive or neutral if t hey increase the rarity of uncommon fish closer to their previous values

Afaik haven has completely different servers and login Q so it could be still hardware related. i have swap from dx12 to dx11 a few tries just in case but no luck so far 11 hours unable to log into the game while there are people constantly getting ahead of me by leaps and bounds ingame. :(
