    I think UE4 was meant to be for multiplayer games with a maximum of like 50 players. Doesn't mean it can't run with more but you'd probably have to use custom net code and I doubt you can run big battles with reasonable FPS.

    The way I understood the node system it might be that only a few nodes are overloaded that cause issues with the login server. I mean, supposedly there had been more players online at once in the stress tests than there are online right now, that can't be the case if the limit on the main land...

    Nah. The game is generally fun (if one can play, that is) and I don't spend money that I don't have, so it doesn't hurt me in any way to wait a few days. This isn't the same, tho. MO2 doesn't seem to even use standard stuff like a regular login queue.

    I suppose it is mainly a concept issue. If you have a oversized world that is supposed to hold a ridiculous amount of players it might not be a good idea to cut those players in half. Count the sinking player counts with time and you will end up with two servers with giant worlds but barely...
