"Your little "footfighter gapclose" situation is so ignorant in every sense of the word because it works both ways for each team fighting" please explain. How do you not get the opener as a range against a melee lol. Have you even logged in and seen how flat the world is.
EDIT: Maybe you don't...
Idk why u are completely ignoring that every fight is on mount lol. This is mounted online 2.
Also the thing that makes mages really strong on foot is that melee has to gapclose. This consumes stamina and time. Time where (mage had already 1 spell in the chamber) and now is casting their 2nd...
Mages were already OP before the buff. This patch just buffed them further.
You say " shitty unused spells were buffed " but outburst was one of the best spells in the game before the patch. Now it might even be the best.
Sorry bro. But if you base mages strength based on mages in Wardens...
Yes, the mage can just kite while parrying to somewhere they can play terrain etc. Get peels from teammates. Many different plays and scenarios
Also you can't just be forced to send 3 guys after every mage. That's not balanced.
As people get better and better the TTK for melee is steadily increasing. Everyone and their mother is able to parry with ease. For some reason SV also gave mages the opportunity to parry which means mages are unkillable in a 1v1 (unless you're in koto or some shitter guild). Good footfighters...
I didn't play mo1 so it's hard for me to compare the two but from watching those videos I feel like mo1 has a lot more focus on movement and spam swinging. Less parrying. In the first clip the guy misses swings without getting punished of any sort.
I highly recommend watching that video...
The combat right now is fine. I would actually say it's one of the best aspects in mo2, taking the situation with a worldwide server into consideration. They have other things they should focus on before launch.
No one gains anything from a war. However it's like a school fight. Either you think you will come out ahead and pull up and fight or you run hide like a p*ssy. Right now it's looking like the last option from koto.
This is where Henrik decides what direction he wants the game to take.
Either he goes the ultra hardcore route and allows forced war decs to be a thing and turn blue cities in to kranesh. I'm sure declaring war on a noob guild like integrity or koto and 1v5'ing them inside town would be a lot...
I cut the videos because the fight was over.
If mages were able to perma cast offensive spells they would be insanely busted because it takes less than 12 seconds for a mage to kill while a footfighters time to kill is infinite because of a mechanic called blocking. It's also possible to...
