You should be worried if thats not the case. That will cause a giant backlash at SV and MO2 and will most likely result in another MO just from the start instead of a few years after launch.

Thing is what you aim for and want in your game. 1.You can do it like MO with distanct races and one will be king and rest useless and you will have a mmoRPG with clones in different dresses. YAY why even play an MMORPG if everyone is the same copy because being different means gimping...

This is what happens when you dont think before making a game. Players have told them for years soon decades and still they copy paste the racial system from MO with minor tweaks. I would much rather have freedom of choice and have all races the same with small racial bonuses backed up by lore.

I do miss the old pattern but I like the new ones better. Old ones was more human and new ones more Risar which imo should be the most dominant one. Hopefully the patterns returns.

Diminishing returns are a good QoL change but it wont really fix the games faults. At best DR will close in on racial imbalances. They wont make combat better, stamina use, wont make combat harder, wont make parries harder, wont decrease TTK. No single one feature or system can fix the blatant...

Depends on your point of view. Lit for those without standards and shit for those having a standard to be reached. So far MO2 is lit compared to MMORPGs but shit compared to a good game imo.
