I only meant that having it gated behind ecu would limit the number of people using it (which I think is very necessary.) Out of balance/ overpowered ai fighters really took the fun out of fights in MO1 and was one of the things that sent the population plummeting.

Domination needs to be limited heavily in some way, and having it gated behind ecu is a good enough way. Frankly, domination/pets is a part of the game that SV has never managed to balance properly and has always been too strong so if even more people had access to it the game would be even more...

Happens to me in an empty Haven, this is a server/game issue.

How many times? I occasionally have that happen, but if I just restart my game it usually works. Once I had to do it four + times but usually only once. Sometimes I log out of steam and or restart my computer as well.

Unlikely, as so many things in the game require afk/semi-afk time.

I thought this as well so I made my char after the wipe Age 31, and it has less strength and att points than my age 23 one did before the wipe.
