Have you tried killing a good MM on an MA? They can kite you across the map like its nothing.

It is just a way to initiate the actual fight. You need to be able to get people off their mounts otherwise they would run forever and no one would ever actually get into a fight. MA is just a means to do that. It starts most engagements which then normally always end up on foot. I mean the guy...

Mounted is more necessary in MO2 than MO1 due to the size of the map. At various points in MO1 a MC could 1 shot a foot player, run up the side of mountains, have 1000hp horses, sprint forever. It was worse... much worse.

If you are expecting some super large MO1 Guild full of vets to come out of the blue you are kidding yourself. All the large players are already involved save 1-2 who would start at a huge disadvantage.

Due to the way it works, on my screen an Aussie can hit me from 5-10 meters away. So because I am not expecting it, I will either not parry or parry and release it early as their attack actually comes 1-2 seconds after their swing.
