I just hope, because this is still beta, SV wants to test the player reaction on this. It does not matter if you fish to make gold, fish collection or just for fun, as it is now its just stupid. I agree that before wipe it was insane gold maker thats not good also. It needs balancing, but nerfed...

SV changed the fishing system. I am not sure if this was right move, to change things that players have tested and learned. This basically means we can throw away all knowledge we have about setups for specific fishes.

I know they was caught also in Tindrem, shallow water in MO1.

I would say to place marker with the fish types and time of day they can be caught. Bait, depth and hook keep secret.

From my experience if its not biting for 5 min, it never will. You need to change setup.

There is a lot of things that you can put as bait, some of them are useless but some can get you very rare catch, if you know where (the place), when (time of day) and on what depth to use it. There is a lot to experiment now.
