That desync has nothing to do with ping. It has to do with client registering a hit faster than the server updating positions. Only way to fix it that I could see would be to start completely over with a different network solution which for obvious reasons isn’t feasible

Basically the combat system is much harder to land attacks, and this has put a strain on a lot of people. Nerfing whatever does work is actually the opposite of what you want. There literally will be no counter to blocking after that.

A lot of people are saying that there isn't any. Which is why they like the MO 2 system. I think EU players do attack a bit quicker but in MO 1 fighting against EU was nearly impossible other than throwing flurries. Now you have some options.
