In the old world, transporters were a nice-to-have if you needed to move goods from one town to another. In the vast new world, their status may very well be elevated to that of a crucial service provider in the eyes of the lowliest newcomer and established guild lord alike.

Logging out in the wild (unsafe) is 30 seconds, followed by a 2-minute timer before your character and pets leave the game world. The DC timer might still be unchanged.
