And it was fine. MO2 had mostly positive reviews on steam and literally nobody complained about the red players. It was so OK that you could immediately tell that people talking about PvP toggle in discord just trolling.

That's not what i'm asking. Dude's saying people can't do shit about being griefed; now that's true about people griefing IN TOWNS but then guards are a problem and should be removed to reduce griefing. That's NOT true about griefing outside towns because you have the tools to stop it.

You can easily replace "grief" with pvp here. Because what it all does is punishes pvp.

There will always be ways to grief people in a free sandbox environment. You want to get rid of griefing, you want a sterile environment kinda World of Warcraft. There's some of that too though. Oh and the last update doesnt affect horse griefing. It actually makes less sense to kill the rider...

I'm not even sure what do you mean by "griefing". Killing a lone miner with a horse full of resources isn't griefing. Killing a traveller on his way to JC to buy some books with 50 gold on him isn't griefing. Killing newbies in GY for their zombie heads isn't griefing. It's all part of a sandbox...

I don't think it will work here as well as it does in eve. Hell i even doubt it will work as well as in Albion. And i'm afraid that, if they add "lawless zones" they'll eventually start adding more and more punishment for PKing in "lawful zones" because they'll have a perfect excuse to do so...

I didn't play MO1 but couldn't you kill people in the middle of a town there? I mean, i wouldn't mind statloss if this was a thing in MO2. But you get oneshot by elite guards if you walk anywhere near a guarded town.
